A week after one of his worst performances, rookie QB Hansen Boone shined in this back and forth thriller versus the Cincinatti Bengals, eventually securing a 38-27 victory. Boone completed 38-53 passes for 335 yards and 3tds with on one pick. It was clear the Cowboys came into this game with pass first mentality after the offense stalled last week versus the Bears. With Keevon Arnold missing his fourth game of the season, Boone rose to the challenge throwing the most passes of his career. His wideouts stepped up and helped ease the pressure on their young quarterback. Terrance Williams caught 9 for 97 yards and 2 tds and Cecil Shorts III caught 9 for 85 yards and a td. Cowboys wrs feasted on poor coverage all day and the Boys defense stood tall in the fourth quarter bringing home the W. Hardy, Lawrence and Melton continued to torment opposing Qbs combining for four sacks. Cornerback Morris Claiborne (LSU) continues to rewrite his career in Dallas. The young corner picked off two passes in this game and has been impressive as of late. The Cowboys face their rivals the Washington Redskins next week and will get a huge boost when Keevon Arnold returns from injury.
