Thanos once said, “Today, I lost more than you can know, But now is no time to mourn. Now is no time at all,” and that’s the same energy that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bringing onto the field, after losing in the Super Bowl. They destroyed the Saints, a playoff team that made it to the divisional round last year 47-3.
The Bucs were led by the young fenom Matt Corral doing it with the arm and the legs. Going for 333 yards and 4 touchdowns in the air., and 44 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin were responsible for both 2 touchdowns, combining for over 250 yards receiving.
The defense was playing out of their minds, 2 plays in a row they made the offense fumble, and got 2 picks. Their newest addition in a trade Deforest Buckner had a nice game of 2 sacks and 4 tackles. Devin White stepped up and took the MLB 1 role from Lavonte David and showed he is valid with 2 forced fumbles and a pick.
Can the Buccaneers keep it going, and can Matt Corral do it as well after a great debut?
