Panel Meeting Minutes 4/29/19

The panel convened tonight to discuss a number of league issues. Below is a quick list of some changes and decisions that were made.

 

1 panel member will be primaried after each season. The panel will decide amongst themselves which member will be up for a vote.  The league chooses a representative to oppose the panel member and the league votes between the panel member and the representative they just chose.

 

In large part to how this year’s playoffs were stalled on several occassions, we will now institute a Hard 48 hour limit for each round of playoffs.

 

We also wanted to use this last season to try out a few rule changes.

Defensive  concept can now be ran back to back but not 3 times in a row

No more than 2 hot routes (including hot routing someone to block) allowed per play. This rule is suspended the last 2 minutes of each half

 

This upcoming draft will be keeper eligible.

 

There will be an opt-in  Keeper pool for Madden 20. Each team must choose 2  players on their team to keep or 2 from the keeper pool. All unkept players are eligible for the pool, including unkept players from teams that did not participate in the keeper pool. Players will be chosen from the keeper pool via an unweighted lottery draft order that snakes.

 

We will give bonuses for seasons played in the Madden 20 voting, instead of stock bonus for playing until the end. For example, someone who played 5 seasons will get 5 points, someone that played 2 seasons will get 2 points. It will be required that all teams vote for a minimum of 32 people. This vote will not take place for a few months.
