The panel met once again on February 26 and had a lot to discuss. No one brought donuts.
All rookies will be tradeable going forward. Previously players drafted in the first few rounds were not tradeable during their rookie season. This is something we will continue to monitor and certainly reserve the right to change back at a later time.
Contrary to our previous ruling, we are not automatically awarding M20 spots to anyone who finishes M19 in the league. We will release a survey probably in early summer that will be binding on which teams get a spot in M20. Teams that do finish M19 will get a bonus as far as the survey goes, so there is a definite advantage to staying in the league.
The real rookie draft will begin this offseason. We will be releasing the full attribute sets in Google Sheets and conducting the draft in GroupMe. The order will be determined by a weighted lottery with the worst teams having the best chance at a top pick. The draft will snake and last 2 rounds. The 1st 10 picks will be assigned Superstar Dev. The rest of the first round will be Star Dev, and the second round will be given Quick Dev. First round picks will be given a 2 year, $6 million contract, second round will get 1 year, $3 million. These players will not be keeper eligible and cannot be traded for 1 year.
We are working on reducing and better organizing rules and will have an update ready this offseason.
We are doing keepers!! Everyone will get to keep one offensive and one defensive player from their current team to take to Madden 20! There is no limit on overall but their age, development, contract and all attributes carry over from where they are wherever we end Madden 19.
Run Pass ratio will be reduced to 20/80. We will round so as long as you have at least 19.5% runs and passes you will not be punished.
The 15 yard piece is being removed from the rollout rule. Also, similar to the line of scrimmage, once you cross the numbers, it doesn't matter if you get back inside them, you can no longer pass the ball.
We are turning accelerated clock back on, but moving it to the lowest setting.
