After a great start, San Francisco falters against rival Arizona

The season began with a loss to perennial great Baltimore after a horrible performance from the Russian Railgun, Simon Milanovich in which the team lost defensive leader Sharrif Floyd. Following the game, Tony Siragusa requested the front office to get him help along his defensive front. After shopping for about 20 hours, they returned with first round fantasy pick JJ Watt to strengthen their defensive line. JJ brought a new dynamic to the line, picking up two forced fumbles in his first game with the team, along with 8 sacks in his four games so far, but the coaching staff had some trouble calling plays with him actually in the game. In the start of each game, Defensive Coordinator Sergei Gonchar forgot to call Watts name and sent out 10 players rather than the required 11, allowing big gains for 49ers opponents. Sergei Gonchar was recommended by Simon Milanovich's agent Vladimir because the defensive ability he was able to show on the ice while playing in the NHL. So far, it hasn't translated well to the NFL.

Gonchar and his defense had their worst showing yet when facing the aforementioned rival, the Arizona Cardinals, allowing 52 points. But he wasn't the problem, as it hardly mattered since Siragusa's offense was only able to put 7 on the board. By the end of the game, Ninerds in the stands were chanting "Milano-PICK" after the former Rookie phenom threw another 5 picks to bring the season total to an astounding 14 interceptions in 5 games. After the game, Milanovich told RML News that he hopes to replace the starter cables that his nipples broke so he can get back into the groove.
