Dolphins' Season Over

by Bryan_Gumball | 4 years ago | 0 Comments

MIAMI, FLA -- The Miami Dolphins continued their poor season losing to the Steelers on the road.

The Steelers jumped out to a 28-0 lead, including 21 points scored in the 1st quarter. The Dolphins were never able to make a come back as turnovers and penalties derailed drives.

Dan Marino wasn’t able to get on track accuracy wise and Moss had some runs called back because of penalties. Overall a very sloppy game from the Dolphins who look like they just want the season to end.

Once again, the All-Madden quarterbacks look unstoppable.

The Dolphins had several injuries on their side, including promising RG Solomon Kindley who broke his ribs and will miss the rest of the season.

The Dolphins fall to (5-10) on the season and will face the division leading Buffalo Bills (12-3) next week. The Bills are looking for revenge after an early season upset.

“Obviously we are looking ahead to next year. Trying to get better in this last game and evaluate.” Dolphins Coach Pat Hearn said after the game. “We’ll see who has heart and who quits. It’ll say a lot about next year.”

TURNOVERS AND PENALTIES

The Dolphins once again lost the turnover battle with 2 interceptions thrown and 2 fumbles lost. Ball security will certainly be a hot item going into next season. The Dolphins also had 3 long runs called back because of holding. Another thing to correct moving into next season.
