FOXBOROUGH, MA -- The Miami Dolphins fell again on the road losing to the New England Patriots 38-16.
The Patriots pulled out to an early lead and never looked back. The Dolphins were down 7-0 after the first and 14-3 at the half. The Patriots pulled away in the fourth, scoring 21 points to seal the game.
The Dolphins turned the ball over every time they looked like they were driving and were going to come away with points. Dan Marino had one fumble and three picks, as he continues his very mediocre season. Unfortunately for Leo Moss, the game script relied on the Dolphins airing it out to try and come back. He averaged over 9 yards a carry on his 14 carries in the game.
The Dolphins fall to (4-6) on the season and the Patriots rise to (3-7). They will face off again in week 15 in Miami.
“We’re far too inconsistent right now. Have a lot of young players that just can’t string together two games in a row.” Dolphins Coach Pat Hearn said after the game. “Might have to look at the roster and shake things up a bit, but we’ll see.”
DEVELOPMENT BOOST
Rookie WR Nate Killings was upgraded to “star” development after the game. He continued his impressive rookie season putting together solid back to back showings.
