4th Down Rule:
- You can go for it on 4th and 2 or less inside 40yd line or closer. Most cases we recommend you take the 3pts.
- If you are down in the 4th quarter with less than 4 minutes left to go, then you can go for it at any time.
Onside Kick Rule:
- If you are down 8 or less, then you may onside kick it with less than 2 minutes remaining in the game.
If you are down by 9 or more, then you may onside kick it with less than 3:30 minutes remaining in the game.
PlayMaker:
- Playmaker is banned . You may not use playmaker feature in this league .
Play Call Ratio Rule:
- Offense: Offensively, you must mix up your run to pass play call ratio. The minimum is 70-30% ratio. We also highly recommend mixing up play types and formations. If you are found to be using the same formation/play type the entire game, then this will be looked further into.
- Defense: Defensively, you must mix up your play calls. Call different types of zones, coverages, blitz, etc. If you are found running any play type more than 50% of the game, then this will be considered against the rules.
Fake Punt/Fake Field Goal:
Once a season (including playoffs), you may use 1 fake field goal and 1 fake punt( 1 of each) You must post that you used it to Discord
Hurry Up Offense:
- You may only run persistent hurry up if there is less than 2 minutes left to go in the half or at the end of the game.
- You may run hurry up once per drive.
- If you are down by 17 points or more, then you can run hurry up at any point past the 2nd quarter.
Coaching Adjustments
- The Aggressive Pash Rush Coaching Adjustment it not allowed at any time in this league.

Play Call Limits:
- You May only pick chew clock after 2 minute warnings in each half of you have the lead. If the person losing by a lot concedes game by picking chew clock themselves before then. If they do that then the person with the lead may use it the remainder of the game.
- You are only allowed to select goal line formation inside the 10 yard line.
- All screen plays are banned from within the 15 yard line (not just hb screens, any screen)
- In general, try to mix up your play calls and formations during each drive.
- If you call a PA play , you must run the PA , You can not audible the HB ( or anyone in backfield) to a route or to manually block .If you pick play action run the play action or audible to a totally dif play.
Pre-snap Rules:
- If you place a DL into coverage manually, then you must allow the CPU to control that player. You are not allowed to manually move a DL farther than 5 yards from the line of scrimmage.
You may only have 1 less rusher on defense than you have dline men in the called play. So if you have 3 linemen , you may rush 2 and spy one . If you have 4 linemen, must rush 3 of them and one spy is fine. However no DT should be manually placed in coverage. DTs don’t play coverage in real life . If playing someone you think may run with qb . A spy is ok because of how badly madden handles attacking a running qb. However you can not be dropping dts back into coverage .
- You may not keep a defensive player in motion presnap ( this includes but not limited to moving side to side, back and fourth, in a circle, etc) .
- On Defense, you may only manually move a LB as close as 3 yards from the DL. You may only move a DB as close as the LB level. If you manually move a DB up, then you may not blitz with them.
Post-snap Rules:
- You may not drop back more than 10 yards unless you are throwing a screen pass or escaping pressure.
- You may not manually move the blockers on kickoff or punt returns.
General Franchise Rules:
Position Changes:
- OL changes can be made without needing approval.
- You can switch players from the right side of the defense to the left and vise versa without permission.
- You can swap FS and SS without permission.
- Any additional position swap requires 3 approvals from the trade committee.
Player Numbers:
- You may not change the player numbers to anything against NFL rules.
Statistics:
- You may not have more than 50% of all QB Completions with any one player. Example: 24 completions by QB no more than 12 catches by a single receiver.
- If you are found to have statistics that are unnecessarily excessive, then that player will potentially be up for a 2-4 game suspension.
Free Agent Bidding:
- Max years you can offer a player to resign is 5 years total. If player is asking for more years than 5 years you must provide a screenshot to admins before trying to resign !
- You may not offer a player more years on the contract they desire in FA Bidding
Playing CPU:
- You must stream this game.
- If you have a cpu game, you either play it , or face a sim loss or win ( whichever hurts your team more is what will be
Streaming/Recording:
- All games must be streamed by the home team. If you are unable to stream, then you will need to ask your opponent if they will be able to. In addition to streaming, you must have your settings ( wherever you stream) setup to record every stream.
- You must have on previous play option . This is so if any questions in playcalling comes up , the info is easily found to keep from people having debates about things.
Communication:
- You must contact next opponent before advances ( More than an hour before advance).
- You must be able to give clear times your available as well communicate with opponent your schedule if there are important times you cant play. Do not just give vague times and expect anyone to have to wait around on you. Vague answers like "anytime tomorrow" does not work for anyone. Give specific times your available or you will be finding your opponent getting sim wins. You have been warned.
- If you set a time and see you will be late ( which you should know in advance), you must DM opponent IMMEDIATELY and let them know what has come up and that you will be running late to see if they can wait. If you do not notify them 30 minutes before set time, they can take sim win or play CPU, their choice.
- You have 12 hours after last advance to get a time posted in shoutbox or game may face being simmed.It will not be waited on.
- If you feel your opponent has a very limited time of availability , and you have alot more open time, submit convo to rules committee and they may vote to allow you to play cpu.This will be a committes choice. If you dont want to put it in their hands, make it a point to try to figure out something that works for you both.
Being Last Game:
- Being last game runs the risk of a sim if it can not be played on time. A sim win for the opponent who showed up on time , sim loss for the one
If Getting No Response:
- If you contact opponent before advance and do not hear back by 8 hours after advance, notify admins . If you fail to contact before advance or notify admins , you will be looking at a regular simmed game instead of sim win.
- If opponent only responds with a vague answer and does not give a more clear answer by 8 hours after advance, same as above applies, notify admins. You will get a sim win (if you contacted before advance only) if they cant give a set time before 12 hour period to post.
Owners Not Responding:
- There will be a thread in forums keeping up with owners not responding to texts and DMs within first 8 hours after advance. Owners found doing this 2 times may face removal from the league.
Going on Vacation:
- Be sure to post in the forums for “ Going out of Town” the dates you will be gone and return. Failing to do so and not answering opponents text will place you in the Owners not responding area and 2 of those can get you removed. Also, you need to go ahead and DM all your opponents you believe you may have while you are out of town and let them know the dates you will be gone and tell them to go ahead and play cpu.
Playoff Rounds:
- Playoff Rounds have a set 2 day max advance.
- If you know you don't have the time to play all of your playoff games, then you concede your 1st available game so no one gets a force win later in playoffs.
Simmed Games:
- Any owners who have 5 or more games simmed/not played in a season ( due to any reason ,except being on vacation or family member or self in hospital) will be facing possibility of being removed from the league.If your not actively seeking your opponents before advances, then your not active enough to be a part of this league.
- If there are no games that are set for sim win during a week, we will NOT turn off injuries for simmed games that week.
Trade Rules :
Every trade must be posted in forums for approval.It takes 3 approvals by trade committee before it can be processed in game. You can not trade players you got in current season or just drafted that season.
- Any new owner must prove to the league they are willing to stick around before being allowed to trade. Anyone can pass a try out game. Before we allow people to move players , they must prove to the league they can follow the leagues rules for a season as well stick it out even if they are losing . So all new people must play a season before they are allowed to trade.
Number of Trade Moves Per Team:
- First season everyone who can trade gets 6 moves. Any team with 10 wins or more in previous season(after season 1) gets 4 moves. Teams with 9 and under get 6 , unless they had 2 or more games simmed or not played after week 7. In those cases they only get 4 moves to keep people from tanking under 10 wins.
- No team may have more than 10 picks. Also no team may have more than 2 picks in any round. (exception first season with real life trades that happened and they already have more than 2 per round or over 10).
- No playoff teams may have 2 top 15 picks in the next draft.
Guys Needing to be Resigned:
- You may only trade a player that needs to be resigned in that current season if you make sure person your trading with knows he has to be resigned.
Posted Trades:
- Do not post a trade in forums needing approval until you both are sure and agree.Once it is posted , can not go back on the deal unless it is denied by committee.
Friend Trading:
- If you bring in any body to the league or play in another league with same owner, you are not allowed to trade with one another, for at least 2 seasons.
In Case Of Disconnections:
It is highly suggested if at all possible to have your PS4 hardwired with an ethernet cable. They even make a thing called a powerline adapter (Google it) you can buy that just plugs into your wall outlet where you can connect an ethernet cable directly to ps4 from that works well. This greatly reduces DCs.
If a DC happens :
- Note time, score, possession, placement on field .Contact opponent to see how they want to proceed from the following:
- Option 1 - If it was at start of game ( 1st quarter) both can agree to just resart ( unless one opponent has a 2 score lead already then it is that persons choice)
- Option 2 - if game was clear who was going to win, losing opponent can concede, in which notify admins ( with proof of him conceding , admin will set you to sim win)
- Option 3 - Note how much time was left. Both agree to start a new game, but to give ball back to correct person who had it last , as close as possible to same place ( situation) as when the DC happened. At that point pause, and both agree a set time to play to be the “end of game” . Add up the score from first game at DC point with the score that happened from there to determine winner. Notify admins who should be set to sim win.
Any major player seen to be injured in a game then a DC happens, will be subject to being forced to sit out 2-4 game after that game to ensure people are not DC to keep from having injured player.
Other Things To Know:
By joining this league , it is required that you be active at all times.This includes, but not limited to, responding to texts, dms, playing your games, keeping up with where we are in season( by checking in the chat daily as well as checking pinned messages daily), resigning your players, etc. Its on you to keep up. If constatly found not doing this, you will be removed.
- You may not drop a player into FA then turn around and resign them just to get them on a cheaper deal.
- No FA may be signed starting in week 14
- If you are placed on auto due to infractions, your opponent will be getting a guaranteed win.
