New Arizona QB Jacob Eason is excited and nervous about going home to play in front of family and friends in week 2. It was a long road for Eason as he spent his first 3 seasons in spot duty for the Colts. The former 5 star top QB out of high school thought he would never reach his dream of becoming a starting NFL QB. "I just kept working hard and hoped a team would give me a shot". Enter the Cards, who traded popular QB Murray to the Bears in the offseason. "We always liked Eason and saw some potential in him", Healy said.

In a week 1 win against division rival SF, Eason was as good as we could have hoped. He led 2 4th quarter FG drives to win the game. He threw 2tds and no ints. With the Cards shaky FG game, we do need to cash in on more TDs and not settle for FGs. That is where the Cards will miss Murray the most. When things break down, Murray can make magic with his legs. Eason is more of the prototype QB who is big Ans has a big arm to match. We will see how the decision shakes out and week 2 will be huge because it is a division opponent with a lot of talent. We will see if Eason can rise to the occasion of playing against a QB in Wilson that he idolized growing up or if the moment will be too big for him.
