Saints Can't Contain Run CMC

New Orleans, LA - Saints came into this big division game against the Panthers riding a 2 game winning streak but that came to a crashing end as they lose to the Panthers 50-24.  For the third straight game against the Panthers, McCaffrey has had a field day with the Saints defense.  Run CMC ended the day with 21 totes for 222 yards and 4 touchdowns.  Saints had a very mediocre day on offense and saw Jameis Winston get benched after losing a fumble in the 3rd quarter.  Winston finished the day 12 for 16 for 112 yards with 2 fumbles (1 lost) and 1 interception.  Saints turned things over to Matt Stafford and he came in and had a pretty good game in the 4th quarter.  Stafford finished going 20 for 27 for 244 yards with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.  Kamara was quiet on the ground with only 8 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown.  Kamara was unstoppable through the air though grabbing 15 balls with 134 yards.  Dede Westbrook had 9 catches for 123 yards and a touchdown.  Defense didn't play as terrible as the score looked with the offense giving the Panthers short fields and two pick 6's didn't help the score either but Gardner-Johnson and Ngakoue came away with interceptions and the Saints again could not muster up a sack as putting pressure on the QB has been a problem early in the season.  Saints head to Tampa Bay for a big Week 5 matchup!
