Saints start out strong on offense and defense in this one but they couldn't hold on to break the losing streak while dropping ANOTHER one score game to the Ravens 39-36. Saints jumped out to a 21-3 lead in the first half but then the Season 59 defense came back to reality and allowed the Ravens back into the game giving up big play after big play after the offense started stalling out. Lamar Jackson had a field day going 14 for 18 for 400 yards and 4 touchdowns. Saints offense played well yet again and put up 36 points and it still wasn't enough. Aaron Rodgers went 22 for 26 for 318 yards and 3 touchdowns but threw a crucial interception in the 4th quarter while only down by 4 at the time of the pick. The good news out of this one was the reemergence of Alvin Kamara going for 116 yards on 16 carries and 2 touchdowns on the grround. Mike Evans led the receiving corp with 3 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. Anzalone led the defense with 5 tackles and a sack. Coach Q stated to the media after the game that changes were coming to the team and will change the defensive scheme back to the 3-4. He also stated that they were making a trade with the Vikings to bring in a OLB to help with the scheme change and will start younger players in key positions going forward.
