Saints Drop Yet Another Game

Today the Saints drop their third game in a row and head to the bye week with a dismal 1-4 record.  Talk about a let down of a season so far.  Saints just could not get on track until it was too late in this one and lose yet another game by one score, 28-21.  Defense is the story in New Orleans as Mixon carved them up with 34 rushes for 157 yards and 4 touchdowns.  The frustration is definitely building in New Orleans and the coaching staff is beyond baffled at what is going on.  The offense played solid outside of two interceptions thrown by Rodgers and the ground game has completely gone south this year.  Rodgers finished the game going 17 for 26 for 266 yards with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Kamara had a measley 27 yards on 5 carries. Mike Evans continues his strong offensive output this season with 5 catches for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Defense was led by lone star Alex Anzalone with 6 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.  Saints head into the bye week mentally drained and someone heard Aaron Rodgers belittling the defensive effort in the locker room after the game.... Yikes!!!!
