Saints drop game to Seahawks

Saints came into today's contest with a lot to prove to themselves after pulling off the upset of the Rams but the defense just couldn't make the stops when they needed it.  With most teams, 41 points scored should easily be enough to win games on a consistent basis but not this Saints team as they drop this contest 44-41 to the Seahawks.  Rodgers was rock solid again as he was 24 for 36 with 414 yards with 4 touchdowns and only 1 interception.  Saints are struggling on the ground as Kamara was held to just 34 yards on 12 carries.  Mike Evans had another stellar game as he is punishing teams for having their best corner follow Mike Thomas over the field as he had 11 receptions for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns. Marcus Lattimore did everything he could possibly do to cover D.K. Metcalf as he had 5 tackles and 1 interception.  Saints return home next week to face division opponent Carolina Panthers in a crucial early season matchup.
