Saints Finally Fall Back Down to Earth

The Saints finally fall back to Earth after a nice 5 game winning streak.  Falcons beat them in every part of the game as the Saints are officially eliminated from the playoff race with a 52-20 defeat.  Derek Carr was pedestrian at best this game but turnovers and not converting 3rd downs doomed the Saints in this one.  Falcons took away Kamara from the opening quarter and it showed as the offense just couldn't get going in this one.  The one bright spot was Michael Thomas catching 4 balls for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns but that's about it... Saints outlook for next season looks murky at best with no first round draft pick and rumors are starting to heat up about the QB situation and the possible trade candidate in Cam Jordan and the possible release of Malcolm Jenkins... Saints close out the season against the Jets in Week 17.
