Jets Lose Season Opener against the Patriots

After the long waited start of MOF Season 61 the Jets had high hopes to start of the season right. It was derailed by the New England Patriots. Though the Jets had all the chances in the world to make the game theirs. A lot of fans and even the GM were questioning Coach Duran's play calling. The most questionable plays was going for it on 4th and 3 from the 3 yard line and not kicking the field goal. Which turned out to be the difference in this game and the last two plays when they got inside the 35 yard line with time to kick even a game tieing field goal. We talked to Coach Duran about those plays and he replied " I still think on the 4th and 3 we got the touchdown. The other two plays I was greedy and cost us the game. I will fix this in the next coming weeks. We played pretty solid today but had some minor mistakes. Thankfully the defense brang in just as many turnovers as our offense gave out." What he was refering to was Haskins threw 4 interceptions and the defense also got 4 interceptions. It would have been nice to turn some of those into points but it didnt. Guice had a solid day on the ground rushing for 146 yards on 19 carries. If the Jets can keep that up they will be able to keep the turnovers down in the form of interceptions. Other then the 4 interceptions Haskins wasnt horrible as he was 15 out of 24 for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Jets look next to play the Buffalo Bills who are the raining division Champs.
