Jets Lose Crucial Game
The New York Jets lost a crucial game in their quest to make it to the playoffs. With a win against Tennessee, they would have had a great chance to make the playoffs without the use of tiebreakers if the schedule goes how everyone thinks it would. The game was theirs to lose, and they did just that. The Jets offense was not looking good. Haskins over the last few weeks only have a few in completions and this week he started out without any completions. Haskins would go 16-28 for 304 yards, 1 touchdown, and the 4 killer interceptions. Though 2 of them was because of dropped passes that got batted around for interceptions. Of course, 2 of them was in the red zone that cost them points and potentially the win. Guice had a hard time running the ball as he only got 43 yards on his 13 rushing attempts. He did have 2 rushing touchdowns though. Haskins was able to find Watkins for 5 receptions for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns, but it just was not enough. Hopefully, they can bounce back and move forward with the season and still try to make the playoffs. The remaining schedule does not fair them any though as they have the Washington Football Team (10-3), Dallas Cowboys (4-9), and the Denver Broncos (11-2) left.
