Falcons falter to Bucs at Home 38-22

The Falcons drop Week 3 home matchup vs the Buccaneers 38-22.  It looked like a defensive battle at first with both teams getting interceptions and forced fumbles to keep the score knotted at 0-0 for most of the 1st half.

But late in the 2nd quarter with Falcons driving, J Garoppolo throw his 2nd red zone pick of the game, but SS A Winfield Jr took it all the way to the other endzone for a touchdown putting Bucs up 7-0.And ths was after teh Falcons forced a fumble and returned it deep into Bucs territory.

Tampa was threatening to make the score 14-0, but threw a red zone pick themselves to CB AJ Terrell.  Then, with just .02 seconds left on the clock, Garoppolo hit J Jones on a double move for a long touchdown to tie the score at 7-7 going into halftime.

From there, Tampa was able to open the lead with a D Singletary touchdown run and then after the Falcons missed a field goal attempt, the Bucs was able to find E Platt in the endzone extending the lead to 24-7. 

Bucs defense then returned a int for td as well as a late fumble for td to stretch lead to 38-7.

Garoppolo was able to hit C Ridley on a long td pass and later with time running out found H Hurst for a short TD pass.

The Falcons must now regroup to face the Vikings in Week 4.
