Falcons Falter in O.T. lose to Titans 34-31

In a back and forth game that saw the Falcons tie the game with 30 seconds left to send to overtime, they couldn't get over the hump to steal a game on the road.

The Falcons lose in overtime 34-31 as J Garappolo threw his 4th interception of the game to seal the victory for Tennessee.

The Falcons defense turned over QB C McDonald with 5 picks (D Jones, F Oluokun, J Gladney, K Cone & I Oliver) but the front seven didn't sack him once and couldn't slow down D Henry who ran for 182 yards and 2 tds on 25 carries.

Part of that could be the DE/OLB T McKinley left the game early with injury, but looks like he won't miss any additional time.

J Jones and C Ridley, even though they had a touchdown each, was held to 6 catches for 88 yards combined.

T Gurley has a decent day (22/90/2) but couldn't really get loose to keep the offense balanced.

Next up for the Falcons, Tampa who look energizered under a new coach as they thrashed the NFC runner up, Green Bay in week 1.
