Falcons finish season 5-11 after 34-31 loss to Cleveland

The Falcons lose to the Brown on a 10 yard D Carr pass to A Isabella in the back of the endzone with 4 seconds left resulting in a final score of 34-31.

It was a hard fought game by both teams and despite M Ryan's 3 picks, the Falcons still had a chance to win the game until the very end.

The Falcons got on the board first on the opening drive and converted a field goal to take an early 3-0 lead.

On the Browns next drive, the Brown got a long P.I. call go in their favor and that set up a D Carr to A Hooper 14 yard pass. Brown 7-3.

On the next drive, M Ryan threw the 1st of his 3 picks to LB M Wilson and the Browns converted that into a field goal. 10-3.

On the next drive, the Falcons were able to tie the game on a 2 yard run by T Gurley 10-10.

The Brown were able to next drive deep into Falcons territory and kicked goal  with 29 seconds left in the 2nd half.  Browns 13-10.

On the 1st play from scrimmage, M Ryan hit D Staley deep for a 75 yard score to take a 17-13 lead headed into halftime.

The the opening drive of the 2nd half, the Browns offense stalled and had to punt.  But the defense picked them up with a G William interception on a pass intended for C Ridley.

The Browns would cash in that opportunity with a 17 yard pass to OBJ,  Browns 20-17.

M Ryan would then threw the last of his 3 interceptions and the Browns would take over at the Falcons 34 yard line.

The Brown capitalized with a 6 yard plunge into the redone by N Chugg.  Browns 27-17.

The Falcons wouldn't fold though. After converting a 4th and 1, the continued the drive and M Ryan hit J Jones for a 10 yard td pass. Browns 27-24.

The next drive, D Carr hit A Isabella on the 42 yard pass that look like was going for a score, but Isabella hammy must have tightened up as he went down at the 1 yard line.  One the next play, D Carr badly overthrew OBJ for a touchdown and instead SS K Cone got the interception.

The Falcons would then take the lead with just under 2 minutes left with a M Ryan pass to TE K Warring.  Falcons 31-27.

The Falcons would not be able to keep the Browns out of the endzone in the end though.
