The Falcons slip to 3-8; Fall to Panthers 25-17

Matt Ryan has been under heavy scrutiny lately for not protecting the ball, leading the league in interceptions.  But his lone turnover of the game wasn't even entirely his fault.

With a chance to maybe tie the game with a touchdown & 2 point conversion to send game into overtime, the Falcons were mounting a final drive.  But T Gurley slipped and fall on a route causing the ball to be intercepted with less then a minute left in a dark and rainy Charlotte.

It was a hard fought game on both sides of the ball.  The defense actually did well with making CMC earn every yard, "holding" him to 102 yards on the ground on 28 carries.  He did find the endzone once, and added 48 yards on 4 catches.

T Gurley ran the ball well in this game, amassing 145 yards on 14 carries and 57 receiving yards.  Matt Ryan was 19 for 25 for 214, 2 touchdowns and 1 pick.  The touchdowns went to C Ridley (4/47/1) and H Hurst (4/51/1).
