The Falcons knew at this stage in Matt Ryan's career some of his physical skills would start to diminish. What they didn't count on was his eye-sight being the biggest issue.
Ryan threw 4 more ints vs the Bengals which included 2 in the redzone that went for pick 6's. That was the difference in the game as they lose at home 42-30.
The defense didn't play bad at all. They limited Joe Borrow to just 213 yards with 15 completions on 30 attempts. He threw 1 touchdown and 4 interceptions. They even held T Coleman to 14 for 40 yards. But the offense kept putting the defense in bad situations that led to 3 T Coleman touchdowns.
C Ridley continues to ascend to the #1 WR level with 11 grabs with 193 yards. H Hurst added 8 catches for 110 and 2 tds.
But again, despite M Ryan's 415 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, the interceptions were an issue.
New up: The Panthers and rushing leader C McCaffrey, who is already over 2000 yards on the season.
