The slide continues for the Falcons as they drop their week 7 game at home to the Rams 45-20. At times, the Rams looks like they could do whatever they wanted. They passed the ball with no fear of turnover as J Goff was an efficient 14 for 16 for 248 and 3tds. C Kupp had 4 grabs for 120 and 2 tds. They also ran the ball at a healthy clip as C Akers went for 26-143-2.
The team looks unprepared as they blew coverage against the pass on sevaral occasions and didn't fill the right lanes on run fits to stoop the ground game. It looks like they were guessing and guessing wrong on each play instead of trusting their instincts.
Matt Ryan continues to befuddle. While he leads the league in passing yardage, he is also setting the pace for interceptions on the season with 31 through just 7 games.
However, the team continues to stick together. There has been no finger pointing or blaming, just a steely resolve to get better each day in practice and work together to turn things around.
