Evo Hall and his New Orleans Saints squad bounced back after losing against the Commanders (Maverick4109035) by a score of (42-41) last week. A huge reason for the loss was Mac Jones throwing 5 interceptions after subbing in for Burrow. The Saints did not want to take any risks with Jones, and moved him to the 3rd string role by trading for the Baltimore Ravens (MickeyRaven) backup QB Hendon Hooker.
Hooker instantly won the starting role in the QB battle against the other Saints QBs and looked impressive as he led the Saints to a win against the Green Bay Packers (BaldBambin0) by a score of (34-24) in his starting debut. This is also impressive as he was the Ravens 3rd string QB just a week ago, and is now (1-0) as a starter in New Orleans. Joe Burrow will not be able to return until the Conference Championship, so the Saints need/hope that Hendon Hooker can consistently continue to play good at this level.
Saints Current QB Room:
1st String: Hendon Hooker
2nd String: Mac Jones
3rd String: Tanner McKee
Injured: Joe Burrow (Will return to the 1st String role for the Saints when healthy: Estimated to return the Conference Championship week if the Saints are still in the Season 59 Playoffs).
