Trevor Lawrence has been traded for the second time this season, and will be on his third team in this same season. This is odd, as he has played well at every destination, but the Commanders believe that they can use Zach Wilson just as good as Lawrence, as their team is focused on the run game primarily. The Jaguars also did not want to resign Lawrence and basically built a whole new team under gamerboss911, as it is his first season coaching the team in his tenure with the Jaguars.

The Jets also gave up a 2026 4th Round pick in addition to this trade
