It's not a lock yet!

The AFC Playoff picture isn't a lock yet! With 4 teams (Ravens, Dolphins, Titans, and Texans) all sitting at 7-7 currently, it's looking grim for any of these four teams to make it into the post-season.

But here's the scenarios of how each remaining team in the hunt can still make it in. The 6 seeded Chiefs are currently 9-5 as of week 15. But if they win, it doesn't statistically eliminate anybody from playoff contention. Why and how does that work you may be thinking...?

The Broncos, also in the AFC West are also sitting pretty at a 9-5 record in week 15 and this team ALSO plays the Chiefs in week 15, meaning that someone is going to have to lose or tie. (a tie would be the best scenario as it would give 4 teams 2 opportunities to sneak in.) But if either one of these teams lose out this season, it's a complete possibility that we see an entirely different team than one of these two as a 6 seed. But one thing is for sure, that 4 seed is a lock to the AFC West.
