The Packers had yet another strong regular season, finishing 12-4 and winning the NFC North. The team finished the regular season with the #1 scoring defense and #8 scoring offense. WR Will Washington emerged as a bonafide star, leading the NFL in receptions (106), while also accumulating 1326 receiving yards and 19 receiving TDs. Davante Adams maintained his high level of play, putting up 1200 receiving yards and 10 TDs on 63 catches. At HB, Aaron Jones shrugged off a slow start to put up over 1700 yards from scrimmage. Defensively, safeties Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage led the way again with a combined 18 interceptions, 1 FF, 1 sack, and 3 TDs scored. Za'Darius Smith, Rashan Gary, and Jack Bowen each had 5+ sacks. Rookie MLB Sidney Jones emerged as a playmaker, having 2 sacks, 3 INTs, and scoring a TD. The Pack had a strong postseason run, ending with a disappointing loss to the Panthers in the NFC Championship game. Along the way, they beat the Rams 38-0 and Cardinals 38-34. Each of those wins was associated with a significant loss, with TE David Njoku being lost for the rest of the playoffs during the Rams game and DT Kenny Clark being lost for the rest of the playoffs during the Cardinals game. While the team did not want to blame their loss to the Panthers on those losses, they no doubt contributed. Going into the offseason, the team has an interesting decision to make at the quarterback position. While QB Jordan Love put up another strong season playing the majority of snaps, he is entering the 5th year of his rookie deal. 1st round pick QB Darnell Levingston arguably played better in limited action, completing a higher percentage of his passes and scoring 15 TDs (passing and rushing) without turning the ball over once, although he was sacked more times than Love.
