Draft day is almost here.

The day is coming, Draft day is arriving faster than you might think and the top QB prospects are ready to go.

Many teams are in the running, including Miami, LAC, Lions, Colts. All of these teams have needs and wants, and many of them are in the need category.

Miami traded for a QB last year that didn't stick, desperate for a rookie to sink their time into, but also open to get off the ground running. A trade can still be made, it's possible Miami wants to use the talent on offense now. Claims that they are having cap problems might be true, so they might be leaning on a QB in the draft, with Coker as the #1 prospect.

The Chargers were in a pickle pre-free agency with only one QB on the roster, now fielding their new addition Jimmy G. It probably takes them out of the running now they have a stud at the position after Grarappolo's crazy year last season. Probably not interested.

Detroit is another beast, another year of Playoff Goff took a turn out of the divisional and led the Lions to let Goff walk. The signing of Geno Smith isn't shaking our minds out of it that Detroit wants to draft one of these prospects. With private workouts for both, they are still preparing for who ever drops into their hands.

Indy is on the edge here, now in a position of weakness after the pending Detroit trade was just sent to the commissioners office. Signing no QBs to cover up their lack of putting up for one in the last 5 years. They might not be able to sign the one they want now, with private workouts for a few defensive players including Stephen Lucas QB from LSU, who for the last month has been climbing up boards but not high enough for the 9th pick.

Time will tell if Miami holds off and gives the Colts the window they need, but one thing is for sure, the Dolphins and Lions are looking to claim the top 2 QB prospects.
