Lions run snow drills.

Another wild storm has grounded many, and busted the power for thousands again in Metro Detroit.

This isn't slowing down the lions though, with mixed practice in/out of the training facility they are taking this in stride. Following last week's ice storm the Lions are already prepared to play under the conditions, it was only last week for pete's sake!

Many players were thrilled to do these drills prior to the game Sunday, and were out and about making snow angels this afternoon.

Jamaal Williams:
"Man it's a winter wonderland man, it's so hot and so beautfiul outside right now!"

Malcolm Rodriguez:
"This is pretty nice me being a souther' boy and all, get the best of both worlds being a hot sun and a soft and cold breeze like that. Winter's not that bad so far."

We got in touch with the player managment services before this week's game with the Packers, "no problem here" said Brad Holmes, also stating he expects there to be no delay in travel for Green Bay as well. The winter storm did come in strong but it didn't bring and complications with it. Yes it did bring power outtages, but as soon as the sun rised over the horizon the heat came with it, not a cloud in sight. Many issues were resolved in hours for local detroiters, and even Detroit Metro Airport resolved being grounded for three hours with ease. One local we asked said this on the morning:

"Man before that sun came up it was awful out here, plows were late, salt yesterday was useless, and i couldn't leave my driveway in my truck, just awful. Then that sun came over the hill o'er there and it's like Mr. Heatmizer dropped by. Roads cleared up in matter of hours to clear and dry and snow started melting all over."

It's all looking up for Metro Detroit and the game this weekend versus the Packers this Sunday, Go Lions! One Pride!
