Breaking from Philadelphia's front office; the franchise tag has been placed on MLB T.J. Edwards. A solid linebacker (84 OVR, S) that is considered a key part of the Super Bowl loser's defense.

Although Edward's agent tried to get a deal done, ultimately the tag was forced to be used when parties couldn't find a deal.

Superstar Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson received his big pay day, as was expected. $42.5 million over 5 years with nearly $30 million in guarantees.

Running back Miles Sanders also received a big pay day, to the surprise of some, with standout Kennth Gainwell looking better every day. Sanders earns a whopping $31.2 Million over SIX years. Some same this contract is too large, others think Sanders is the key to returning to the big game.
