GRIDIRON:RULES

GAME PLAY SETTINGS:
1) All Madden play setting
2) 7 Min Quarters
3) Injuries and Fatigue - On
4) Weather settings - Live
5) Play calling screen must be on.
6) Accelerated clock on (you can use the kill clock option SEE RULES BELOW)
7) XP Settings will be adjusted
8) Practice squad stealing is off until week 2
9) Roster Pause -- Allow your opponent 5 minutes to make whatever roster moves once the game begins.
10) Uniform colors: You both can't have the same-colored jersey
11) Progressive Fatigue ON
12) Play Calling Cool Down - 5

ADVANCEMENT EVERY 48HRS UNLESS THERE ARE NO GAMES LEFT TO BE PLAYED IT IS RECOMMENDED YOU CONTACT YOUR OPPONENT THE 1ST DAY OF ADVANCE VIA GROUPME OR TEXT. IF NO REPLY THE 1ST DAY (8AM-12AM EST) THE 2ND DAY (8AM-12AM EST) YOU CAN ASK FOR A FW. IF EARLY ADVANCE YOU STILL CAN NOT GET A FW UNTIL 2ND DAY (8AM-12AM EST) OWNERS MUST ASK FOR THE FW OR GAME GOES TO SIM MONSTER:
THERE IS NO AUTO OR PLAYING THE CPU TEAM IN THIS LEAGUE. (EXCEPTION IF YOU HAVE A BREAKOUT SCENERIO...SEE BELOW).

DRAFT PROCESS:
TEAM DRAFT FOR 1ST SEASON WILL BE DONE THROUGH A LOTTERY DONE LIVE...
SEASONAL DRAFT WILL BE DONE VIA COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCEMENT.

TRADE RULE: COMMSSIONERS WILL EVALUTAE TRADES POSTED IN THE TRADE CHAT.
TRADE APPPROVAL WILL BE FAIR.

VIDEO STREAM SETTINGS:

1) It is mandatory to use Twitch or YouTube YOU MUST STREAM YOUR GAMES (NO EXCUSES)
2) if its your stream you will need to share your link from twitch & YouTube to the GroupMe chat
3) GAMES OF THE WEEK: MON-THURS-SUNDAY GAMES WILL BE POSTED AND IF ODD WK (1,3,5,7 etc... AWAY TEAM STREAMS) IF EVEN WK (2,4,6,8, etc... HOME TEAM STREAMS)

FOR MOST RULE INFRACTIONS YOU WILL HAVE TO SIT 2 PLAYERS OF COMMISSIONERS CHOICE FOR 1 GAME MULITIPLE INFRACTIONS WILL BE DEALT WITH UP TO REMOVAL FROM LEAGUE. EXCEPTION:
1.WARNING GIVEN FOR SOME ROSTER VIOLATIONS
2.BREAKOUT PLAYER SCENARIO- FORCE LOSS NEXT GAME & REVERSAL OF UPGRADE.

OWNER REMOVAL RULE:

1) IF YOU HAVE 5 SIMS FOR THE SEASON YOU WILL BE REMOVED.

ROSTER REQUIREMENTS:
1) If a player is not in there right position on the depth chart you will receive a warning then there will be a suspension for this a 1-player suspension for 1 game after that, its commissioner's discretion on multiple offensives.


Requirements/Substitutions:
1) Rosters: To try and get an NFL feel team Roster requirement are to be met. All human teams must maintain a roster of Max of 53 but no less than min of 46 players at all times.

****These requirements BELOW are to be met by your week 1 Game of regular season and maintained thru out the season. there are NO POSITION CHANGES AFTER WK 4 OF PRESEASON. EXCEPTION: (If you acquire a player through a trade) he can be position changed per roster requirement rules YOU CAN SUB PLAYERS IN PER ROSTER REQ SUB RULE

****** DURING THE COURSE OF THE SEASON THE SUB PACKAGES (SLCB SUBLB MAINLY) THE CPU WILL PUT A SS/FS IN THESE POSITIONS IF YOUR ROSTER IS SHORT OF PLAYERS
KEEP AN EYE ON THIS....YOU WILL BE ISSUED WARNINGS (AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT IN THE 1ST SLOT) IF IN THE 1ST SLOT YOU WILL GET 1 WARNING TO FIX IT) THEN SUSPENSION.

BREAKOUT-SCENERIO AGAINST CPU TEAM
1.YOU MUST SUBMIT PICTURE OF THE PLAYER TO A COMMISH
2.YOU HAVE 2 ATTEMPTS TO PLAY THE CPU ONLY.

4.TD-4 PER PLAYER. (UNLESS YOU CAN SHOW OTHEWISE NEEDED FOR BREAKOUT PLAYER)

THIS WILL BE CHECKED/ENFORCED DURING PRESEASON AND EVERY 4 WKS DURING REG.SEASON

Substitutions/Position Change:
***Here is the list of allowed manual substitutions:
1) CB/CB
2) FS/SS are interchangeable
3) D-line/LOLB/MLB/ROLB are interchangeable
4) TE/WR are interchangeable at WR position only
5) TE/FB are interchangeable
6) QB/P/K
7) RB/FB
8) Special teams: Kicker - Kicker/Punter. Punter for/Kicker.

So, under these guidelines there is No
1) WR to HB
2) WR to TE
3) CB to SS/FS
4) SS/FS to CB
5) SS/FS to LB
6) CB to LB


1) YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE THE NAMES OF "ROOKIES" AND YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO CHANGE THE
NAME OF 1 ROOKIE PER SEASON, AND IT MUST BE DONE BY WEEK 1

2) IN THE OFFSEASON/TRADE (player’s positions can be changed THEY MUST MIRROR MANUAL SUB RULE...

OFFENSE: BECAUSE THERE IS NOW A COOL DOWN SETTING YOU CAN RUN WHAT EVER OFFENSE YOU LIKE.


NO HUDDLE RULE: YOU CAN NO HUDDLE AT YOUR OWN RISK ......


MOTION RULE:
1) YOU CAN NOT HIKE THE BALL WHEN MOTIONING A WR OR TE ACROSS THE OFFENSIVE LINE (MANUALLY) UNLESS THEY ARE OUTSIDE THE TE OR TACKLE.

BLOW OUT RULE: IF UP BY 35PTS IN THE 4TH QTR UNDER THE 4MIN MARK YOU CAN USE THE KILL THE CLOCK MODE (YOU HAVE TO BE UP BY 35 AT THE 4MIN MARK)

DEFENSE:
1) There must be a minimum of 3 defensive rushers from within the tackle box engaging the offensive line at all times.
2) you cannot line up linebackers behind lineman to cause sacks or Moving them Manually in between the defensive lineman.
3) you cannot Manually bring a safety or corner down in the tackle box.
4)*** ANY defensive personnel can be used against the "Wildcat" and "Special Teams"

DOWN AND DISTANCE: YOU MUST MATCH UP (THIS IS TO KEEP THE REALISM OF THE NFL GAME PLAY)

After:1st down and long yardage (5 + yards):
1) the Nickel package may be utilized when the offense shows packages that feature two tight ends, two receivers, one back sets (221,122, 131) at any time or packages that feature 3, 4 or 5 receiver sets; or anytime against a base package in long yardage situations.

2) The Dime package may only be utilized upon the offense calling a three wide receiver (or more) set or if the opposing offense needs 5+ yards or greater to obtain a first down. And yes, it can be used against a base set-in long yardage 5 plus yards.
Against multiple receivers sets and long yardage (long yardage = 10+ yards):

3) The Quarter defense may only be utilized when the offense uses 4 0R 5 WR sets; The Quarters defense can be used against ANY set on any down against long yardage
(15 yards or more) exception: can be used against ANY set under 15 yards for use at the end of the 2nd and 4th quarter protecting a lead with 2 minutes to go.

4) GOAL LINE DEFENSE AND OFFENSE (can ONLY be used inside the 5-yard line) IF YOU NEED TO GO FOR IT ON 4TH SHORT USE OTHER FORMATIONS.

1) If you have the ball in your opponent’s territory (On or inside the 50-yard line) you can go for it, on any 4th & 2 or less. Otherwise, you must punt or kick a field goal.

1) You have the choice to GO FOR it on 4th Down, NO MATTER THE DISTANCE OR WHAT SIDE OF THE FIELD you are on, ONE time per HALF.


THIS IS WHAT WE ARE CALLING A SKELETON LEAGUE MEANING THE RULES ARE LIGHT WE EXPECT OWNERS TO FOLLOW THEM SIMPLY BECAUSE THERE ARE NOT ALOT OF THEM.
IF THROUGH THE COURSE OF THE SEASON SOMETHING COMES TO OUR ATTENTION WE WILL ADD TO THE RULES AT THE END OF THE SEASON.
IF YOU HAVE SOME THING POSITIVE TO ADD TO HELPING TO THE DEVELOPEMENT OF A BETTER LEAGUE LET US KNOW. IT DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL BE USED!!!!
