Much as the Steelers had feared, this game was decided by quaterback play and once again, their play at the position came back to haunt them. The Steelers ultimately could not overcome five turnovers by rookie quarterback Reggie Evans. Although Evans did show flashes of promise, his accuracy and weak arm, ultimately proved to be the difference as the Steelers fell short 24-21.

Fans gathered outside of the Steelers headquarters to show support for the incoming ownership. Despite a 2-7 start, fans in Pittsburgh are optimistic for the future. While the rival Browns appear to be running away with the division, the Steelers have a good core to build around and believe they are only a couple pieces away from becoming contenders in the AFC.
