After a 2-7 start, the Steelers make an ownership change

Fans gathered outside of the Steelers headquarters to show support for the incoming ownership.  Despite a 2-7 start, fans in Pittsburgh are optimistic for the future.  While the rival Browns appear to be running away with the division, the Steelers have a good core to build around and believe they are only a couple pieces away from becoming contenders in the AFC.

On the offensive side of the ball, Josh Rosen has become a serviceable starter in the league and should only be helped by the developement of Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate, running back, Roman Whitlock.  JuJu Smith-Schuster continues to be a top flight wide receiver.  If the Steelers can improve the offensive line, they should be able to move the ball extremely efficiently.

The Steelers have always been known for their talented and hard nosed defenses.  This defense continues that tradition.  Led by Devin Bush, this defense plays fast and physical.  The lineup is filled with stars and it could get even better with what looks to be a high draft pick.  With the overwhelming majority of the playmakers still under contract after this season, the Steelers look to have one of the top defensive units in the league.

It remains to be seen if the new ownership will bring new results for the city of Pittsburgh.  With a bye week to get things in order, the first step towards changing their current fortune comes in Week 11 when they travel to Atlanta to take on the 5-4 Falcons.  The defense should have an opportunity to shine against an offense that already has two running backs that will miss the game due to injury.  Either way, the people of Pittsburgh are ready for their team to turn this season around.
