Cleveland, OH
The Browns home opener found itself in front of a packed house and the atmosphere was so electric that the hairs stood up on your arms. Opening drive saw Tenn drive down to kick a fg while dishing out a healthy dose of King Henry. That was all the scoring until Cleveland put up 8 in the second quarter and brought a slow first half to an ending. Browns offense picked up and fed off the defense as they started to bottle up Henry and forcing an inaccurate Levis to try and beat them thru the air. Browns ran off 28 unanswered points in the second half to only 7 from Tenn to bring in the victory. Watson went 16-18 for 217 and 2 tds and Chubb added 3 tds on the ground. Chubb had a very off game when it came to ball security with three fumbles. Garrett led the defense with 6 tackles and one sack. Next week we seek revenge on the SB Champs Bengals as they come into the Pound riding high. Coach Mo say that his guys are definitely up for it. It's only one way to find out.
