Jags needed the win but couldn't make anything happen. The defense dropped 6 or 7 gimmie INT's, 2 of which were clear pick 6's. That seemed to let the air out of the team as the offense soon followed suit and just couldn't move the ball. Lawrence had another spectacular game were he threw more interceptions than receptions to his WR's. As they watched the season slip away no one stood up and made a stand. The team is lost, where do they go from here? Only time will tell.[ Continue reading ]
Jags D played big at times but had no answer for the Steelers ground game. A couple of interceptions looked to turn the game but proved not to be enough as the offense kept giving the ball right back. Extremely bad turnovers by the offense and the inability to pick up a 1st down that would have ended the game cost Jacksonville in the end.[ Continue reading ]
In a much needed game in a crowded division yhe Jags come up with a defensive Gem as the shut down the Ravens offense, turning them into a 1 trick deep ball pony. Aside from a deep completion on a streak the Jags D stepped up and scored more points than the Ravens offense after 2 pick 6 interceptions before halftime that changed the game. After that the Jags secondary had a field day picking off the Ravens QBs 7 times in this one. Setting up a big day from Travis Etienne who finished with over ...[ Continue reading ]
Jacksonville controlled the game from start to finish. The Saints seemed uninterested as on several plays, Saints players were seen standing in place long after the snap, one of which led to a touchdown pass early on. Jacksonville raced out to a lead before the Madden gods brought them back and allowed the Saints to tie the game. A good talking to at halftime got the gang back on track and the jaguars again put space between themselves and the Saints. Travis Etienne had a field day against th...[ Continue reading ]
Jags get an unexpected bye week after winning back to back games. The win will help improve team goals for building a strong roster. The return of WR Shenault couldn't come at a better time as DJ looks like he will miss the game with a injury. The front office just hopes no one else lands on next weeks injury report.[ Continue reading ]
The young Jags finally put together a complete game in all phases of the game. Trevor Lawrence was on point throughout the game not making major mistakes over and over, we can live with 1 int, not the usual 5. TL picked up the slack of the running game as Etienne only mustered 60yards. The Jacksonville defense was the star of the game forcing 5 turnovers by the Bengals. The DBs didn't let Chase get loose as Burrow found himself under pressure most of the game. The tide turned on an ill-advised ...[ Continue reading ]
In what was a clearly winnable game the Jags couldn't get out of their own way to take control of the game and get the win. Lawrence had his best game of the short season throwing for 353 yards but still can't shake the interception bug. Trevor hit at a 66% completion rate but not at critical points in the game. Chark and Parham both hauled in 7 catches a piece but could not get into the endzone. Lawrence was able to find 8 deferent Wide receivers. The defense held the Colts under 100 yards r...[ Continue reading ]
Jags can't do anything right as they pick up where they left off last season with a fat L on the road. The defense gave up over 400 yards in offense to the Texans . The offense faired no better as Trevor Lawrence finished with a 36.1 rating. The 250 yards couldn't overcome the 3 interceptions though. The ground game wasn't much help either not clearing 100 yards is not going to get it done. Back to the drawing board.[ Continue reading ]
Jacksonville was able to survive the Devonte Adams show. Adams was the focus of the Green Bay offense as the all pro wideout hauled in 17 catches for over 200 yards. Jags defense couldn't stop Adams with a head start. Left, right, up, down, Adams was open all game. With the game tied, the Packers got 1st crack in OT but by the grace of everything Irish! The Jags D held the Packers to a FG. The offense was able to move the ball down to the 6 yard line with time running out. 3 missed cha...

After an ugly 1st half that seemed like neither team wanted to score. Jags got on the board first with a long FG. Jags were never really threatened after taking the lead. Thanks to a tough defense that generated 6 turnovers, all 6 being interceptions. The offense had one of the most balanced games of the season. Almost showing up equally in the box score. Jets keep chucking and ducking on their way too just under 400 yards passing.
