In terms of the game plan for the Indianapolis Colts this week, it is very much different from what it has been in the past. In order to open up the running game, they want to take shots down the field so that they can take shots down the field. Despite Taylor's struggle to get the running started, he believes that the league has caught on to what's going on. In order to keep the defence off balance, the staff believe they have to be aggressive with the pass in order to keep them on their toes. They haven't had the season they thought they would have and they must now focus on finding the right balance in the game in order to succeed. This year, the defense has done an excellent job and the offense needs to step up and do a better job. MLB Lloyd has made a huge impact on this defense as a rookie, and he is now a starter on a regular basis. It has been decided by the defensive coordinator that some special plays will be drafted to get him more involved with the game. It will be a good test for the changes to see if they are working against the Raiders, who will be a good test for them.
It was the first time the Indianapolis Colts' new quarterback Feleipe Franks played in the SFL, and he showed his rookie level. In spite of the fact that they were doing a great job in the first half, when they got down, it changed the entire course of the game. In order to accomplish their goal, Feleipe Franks, a rookie quarterback, felt the need to take shots downfield, which resulted in the other team getting more chances to score. It is important to note that the coach did not seem to be surprised by how he struggled, but rather by the level of composure he displayed. There is definitely something to build on here for the Staff to build upon and they are eagerly awaiting the offensive line's return to health. It is certain that this team is building towards a better future, but it is always going to be interesting to see what it takes to create a successful team in the future. There is an interesting aspect about the situation in that the team has to build on the successes that have already been achieved in the past. Next week the team will play the Raiders, which is a tough opponent for them. This rookie quarterback is rumored to be going to move more passing players on the deep routes in order to help develop his confidence in a new offense. It will be interesting to see if it works or not.
As of this week, the Indianapolis Colts will have a new quarterback in the starting lineup. There will be a matchup between the Colts and the Patriots, who are 4-4 at the moment. For the Colts defense to be able to keep the game close, they need to be aggressive on the deep routes. As the new quarterback takes over, the Colts hope that he will be able to make a change in their offensive system. In the eyes of this undrafted free agent, this is one of the most nerve wracking opportunities of his life. There is no doubt that the Colts coaches are keeping the game plan simple with deep routes while keeping check options open. There is no doubt that this is a big moment for the new coach since they have removed a solid option for an unknown alternative. It is essential that the Colts are able to move the needle in this game and build upon something special heading into next year's campaign. It's a great moment for this undrafted rookie as he embarks on his professional career. The question is whether he will be forgotten or if he will become the next Tom Brady.
There is a strong focus on building for next season for the Indianapolis Colts. Feleipe Franks has been signed from the Atlanta Falcons practice squad. In my opinion, Feleipe Franks was an interesting pick and has been installed as the starter immediately. While the Colts have added depth to their quarterback room, their primary focus is giving Feleipe Franks a chance. A four-year college athlete, he played for the Florida Gators and the Arkansas Razorbacks during his college years. An undrafted free agent, he was assigned to the Falcons practice squad as an undrafted free agent. The Colts believe that playing in the SEC is a factor in their success and they hope to find a diamond in the rough in this draft. The coaches are very impressed with the strength and speed of his arm. In their estimation, this could open up the passing game more with the use of RPO and Play Action for the remainder of the season. Against the Patriots this week, Feleipe Franks gets the chance to make his first start in the SFL. It is hoped that the team will be able to inject some excitement into the locker room as a result of this move. I have never seen this much pressure put on a practice squad player. In recent interview Feleipe Franks said he has nothing to lose but everything to gain with signing with the Colts. In theory, that is a great approach. Let’s see if it will work
Indianapolis Colts game vs the Commenders were the tail of two halves. In the first half the team had a balance approach and defense was making some plays. Matt Ryan kept the ball in their offenses hands and made some nice passes down field. The offensive coordinator thought Matt Ryan found his fountain of youth during this 1st half. Unfortunately the wheels fell off very quickly at the start of the 3rd quarter. Matt showed his age and started making throws to defenders who had better hands than receivers. At this point the HC might be looking for another job this summer cause this team just looked lackluster. This is the third game where Taylor was held under 100 yards. Coaches need to find a way to get this team and they will be out of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis is currently looking to build towards the future. This front office believes in establishing an OL to help create the run/pass balance needed to be successful in this league. The one attention that was very visible during the game with the Titans is if the QB of the future is present on this team. Many insiders see Matt Ryan contract not worth the value he brings. Front Office and Coaches are meeting this week with Ryan’s agent to determine next steps. This team is looking to next season and wants to ensure Ryan is understanding of the situation. Out of respect for the player they want to want with him and see his thoughts. Many around the organization are shocked especially with given the contract with off-season. The moment has shifted with new coaching staff who have different vision. This team has potential to be very ground related focus and just needs a QB who will hit targets when needed. Another issue amongst the team is finding speed but they are working on it thru the draft. This season is not what was expected but can change after the team meeting. This team has a lot of talent across all three phases so let’s hope they don’t screw it up.
Indianapolis defense try to keep the game close but the QB situation is real. Colts attempted to give the 2 season young buck a shot but failed to impress. In fact Colts went back to Matty Dust for the rest of game. Speaking with coach after loss the disappointing part is the line couldn’t get the running game gelling. This upcoming week Colts look to make so real adjustments and scout heavy for QB of future. According to the team we build an OL for Taylor but now need a QB who is a game manager. This will open the team to be stronger than compared to the past. The colts defense continues to keep games close in the 1st half but need offense to build on being smart with ball.
After making a splash in the trading market, Indianapolis acquired veteran offensive lineman Brandon Scherff. Scherff brings experience to the position of right guard, which has been a void throughout the season. Campbell and Lloyd were included in the transaction. As a result of the deal costing this year's first, many around the league are questioning the decision. The long-term game plan, according to the front office, is to provide Taylor with the best line possible so we can focus on running the ball. We intend to be a run-first team and a pass-second team, so runs between 1st and 2nd down are extremely important to us. Rumor has it that the Colts still wish to add to their draft line with a number of picks available. Coaches and front office personnel are working towards building the best offensive line in the league than focusing on defense. Particularly in a league that emphasizes passing, this is an interesting approach
Indianapolis continues to struggle on the offensive line between talent and injuries. In a sloppy raining game the Colts were able to finish drives and lost 37-10 to the Jaguars. Matt Ryan continues to throw the ball to the wrong jersey and is currently at 9 INT in two games. Hines had 20 rushes for 94 yards in replacement for Taylor who suffered injury last week. Defense continues to improve but when offense puts them in bad situations it is impossible to be successful. Before the start of halftime maybe the game was salvageable. The Colts were on the goal line with less than 1 minute left before halftime. Jaguars were leading 27-3 with an opportunity to cut the lead to 17. Colts had four attempts and couldn’t push it in which is disappointing in the fact the OLine couldn’t get movement with 1 yard for the touchdown. This only added problems when the start of second half and receiving the ball was fumble for a quick score for the Jags. This put the game out of reach for the Colts. It’s already time to look in mirror and make improvements. Look for Colts to make a few moves before the trade deadline to help improve squad.
Broncos looked good thru the 1st half and heading into halftime leading 21-14. According to Coach Nelly they were clicking in all three phases of the game. The team game out of the half went up 24 to 14 than the Madden ensued from that point going forward. Sewell went down with an injury and that was it for the line. Adam was unstoppable as a slot with the dig and post/corner route concepts. Broncos couldn’t adjust and lost the game. Broncos looking to try and finish the season on a good note starting next week.
Broncos coming off a bye but continues the losing streak. Questions are starting to surface if Hurts is the right guy for this team especially with 6 ints. Defensively Broncos showed up but offense just couldn’t help. Broncos get ready to face new Dolphins HC next week. Offense has to figure it out.
What could have been in the game failed to live up to hype. After restart broncos came out flat and wasted Williams 100 yard day by not scoring a point. Coach says they have to remember to stick to the game play earlier rather than later.
Broncos took loss against Raiders tough. Nothing could get started and Hurts played Hurt. Broncos Williams could help balance the run and looking towards next opponent Broncos look to bounce back.
Broncos lost against Chief exposes much needed help on the Defense Line. They were not able to get home in comparison to Jones who was a wrecking ball all night. The Broncos line had no answer and this is the worst loss in a long time.
Broncos take on the Chiefs Week 2 of this season. Broncos lost a heart breaker last week cause of the kicking game which was the difference. This week Broncos are preparing to slow down the passing threats from the Chiefs by playing physical at the line. Williams is looking to continue his big start to the season. It is going to be a tough for the Broncos but they are ready.
