The newly acquired John Ross has had big shoes to fill for the London Black Knights, filling in for the role that Michael Thomas held. The speedy 24 year old has shown no signs of disappointment as he has been scorching opposing defenses for large gains. In 4 games in a Black Knights uniform, Ross has caught 34 passes and is closing in on 700 receiving yards. Of those 34 passes, 10 of them have resulted in touchdowns. With over 400 yards in his last 2 games, it doesn't look like Ross plans on stopping anytime soon. The tandum of Sammy D and John Ross could be one that gets mentioned many years down the road. Could they be the next Joe Montana and Jerry Rice? John Ross had this to say when compared to the Hall of Fame duo, "Sam and I are honored to be compared to such all-time greats, but this is our show now."
Word travels fast in the NFL world, and rumor has it that John Ross has accepted the lead role in London's filming of "The Flash" & "Forrest Gump". Usain Bolt has even requested a training regimen from Ross himself, in which he politely declined. John is becoming a superstar in London, hopefully the fame doesn't get to him. Owner Aaron Banna has said that, "John has a good head on his shoulders, he will be fine." All in all, the BK Lounge is glad to have him here in London.
