The Steelers have come to an agreement with DE TJ Watt, the deal is a blockbuster one of that. After 4 weeks Watt and the Steelers Owner sat down and finally came to an accord with a massive contract that is much like Flyod's. TJ Watt signed a 4 year deal for 8.0 mil a year with 4.0 mil a year in bonus for a total of 47.8 million and 21 mil guaranteed, the Steelers now locked down DE Watt for 5 years and now keep the Power House D together and look to be a froce to be reckened with for the next 2-3 years.
The fans in Pittsburgh are cheering "HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO" because they just made a block buster trade with the Raiders!!! The Steelers have made a deal to get Khalil Mack from the Riaders and lets just say the Steelers went all out for Mack. The trade details are the Steelers have agreed to send there 1st round 26th overall pick RT Ryan Mancuso, 1st round pick 2021 and 1st round pick 2022 and of course the Raiders send All Star DE Khalil Mack, but the Radiers and Steelers have agreed to trade contracts as well with both players as well so a major block buster trade indeed. But now where does this put the Pittsburgh Steelers?? Lets just say the Pittsburgh D is Stacked with major playmakers, Watt, Williamson, Kershaw, Floyd, Shaizer and now Mack the Steelers D is going to be very tough to beat in the upcoming weeks and Mack is expected to arrive just before the Steelers play the Miami Dolphins in week 5. This is a game changer dor the Steelers seeing how they have been stuck in the #3 spot in there division both seasons in a row.
Well it would'nt be the NFL if there wasn't any trades. So here is all trades that happened last friday. The Patriots were very active during this trade weekend 1st trade they were involved in, NE traded Larry Ogunjobi (DT) who they traded for last season from the Browns well in any event they traded Ogunjobi to the Bears for there next years 2nd round pick (2022). 2nd NE trade, they sent WR Tyrell Williams to Jacksonville for a 3rd round pick (2021) a trade that Pats fans were shocked to wake up to. 3rd tade by the Pats they sent Devin McCourty (S) and a 3rd round pick (2021) to Dallas for Johnathan Kilgore (DT). 4th and final trade by the Pats, the Steelers sent a 3rd round pick (2021) and a 5th round pick (2022) for the Patriots LB A. Williamson the deal was done quickly and Williamson is spoting that #57 in the black and yellow. Last trade that happend was with the Steelers and Raiders, Pittsburgh sent Rookie Parker Nixon (LB) Nixon was picked in the 2nd round at the 7th pick, for the Raiders 1st round pick (2021). What a great trade weekend it was.
The playoffs are here and so are we here at NCNN so lets dive into it!!!! The New England Patriots did better than we expected by winning all there final 3 games of the season they will have a hard raod to victory as they take on the Chiefs and that high powered offense and run stopping Defense! With the Jets losing to the Pats in the final game of the year they fall down 1 seed spot to #5 as they face the Radiers who had snuck there way to the playoffs and holding there spot for 3 weeks and you got it the Raiders and Jets is our game of the week 2 teams that look the same on paper so this will be a great game and matchup for this 1st week of playoffs. On to the NFC, Carolina will take on the BIG BLUE New York Giants for one of the 1st games of wildcard week, the Giants got in just by the skin of there teeth and we here at NCNN see the Panthers winning in the end big but again not everything is what it seems. Last but not least the Eagles will have a hard time taking the win from the Seahawks, yes we said taking, beacuse the Seahawks will be taking no prisoners in the wildcard game, in an case these matchups will prove to make a great wildcard weekend.
Now for the NFC side of the playoffs. With the Packers, Seahawks and Rams all sealing there fate for the playoff birth of all 3 teams. On to the teams in question for the NFC (Panthers, Eagles, Giants, Falcons and Redskins) lets talk about the Giants, the can seal the deal in the playoffs in 3 ways 1:Win the last 3 games 2: Beat the Pathers and Eagles 3: Beat the Eagles the NYG are in control of there own fate with the playoffs its all up to them if they stay in. Let's stay in the East the Skins are very much like the Steelers in the AFC, they can get in but need all the luck in the world, the Skins need to beat the Eagles this week beat the Cowboys and go 3-0 and need the Giants to lose 2 games but beat the Eagles (in other words philly has to lose all 3 games along with Atlanta to lose 1 game) much like the Steelers this most likly wont happen. Now down to south to Atlanta, the Falcons are much like the Skins in every way but the things they need to make it in, they need to win all 3 games (Rams in week 16) and need the Panthers to lose all 3 games the Skins to lose just 1 game or Eagles/Giants to lose all 3 games all in all this truly won't happen but strange things happen in the NFL. Now to the Panthers they just need 2 things to stay in Win 1 of the last 3 games or Atlanta lose 1 game, pretty simple if you ask me. Last but most certinly not least the Philadelphia Eagles, all they need is to win in Big Blue and they have sealed the deal in there playoff race thats it or win 2 of 3 games.
Our predictions for the NFC playoff picture:
#1 seed: Packers (1st week bye)
#2 seed: Rams (1st week bye)
#3 seed: Pathers (Wild card)
#4 seed: Giants (Wild card)
#5 seed: Seahawks (Wild card)
#6 seed: Eagles (Wild card)
With 3 weeks left in the 2019 CGL NFL season the playoffs are all football fans are talking about, so lets get into the talk of Playoffs for the AFC. Well to start off with there are only 3 teams that are set for playoffs with the Bengals taking the AFC North 2 times in back to back seasons along with the New York Jets and Tennesse Titans all 3 teams are ready for there chance at the Super Bowl. But what about the teams in question?? Well 4 teams are looking in from the outside (Raiders, Texans, Jags and Steelers) and here is what these teams need to happen. 1st lets start with the Jags, they need to win at least 2-1 and one win must be against the Pittsburgh Steelers they also need either the Colts to go 0-3 or need the Pats to lose 2 games and Radiers, Texans and Steelers to lose just 1 game. Next the Steelers, the Steelers are in a tight spot and need everything to fall in place perfectly to get in, they need to win the rest of there games to go 9-7 and need the Raiders and Texans to lose 2 or 3 games (Steelers play the Pats and Jacksonvillie in the last 2 weeks) again very unlikly we will see Black and Gold in the Wild Card but you never know. Now to the Bay, the Radiers are looking like they will not get in based on there last 2 games of the season with playing both KC and Indy needing to win to stay in the playoffs so its not impossible but the Raiders need to go 2-1 plus Pats must lose to PIT next week and need the Steelers to lose 1 game the Texans and Jags to lose 2 to just make it in. Last but not least The Texans, for one they need to win this week against the Jags and go 2-1 they alos need the Steelers to beat the Pats and need the Colts to go 1-2 or lose to the Jags in the final game in the seaon of 2019. All in all its looking to be a great final 3 games in the AFC.
Our playoff Predicton for the AFC:
#1 seed: Bengals (1st week bye)
#2 seed: Titans (1st week bye)
#3 seed: Chiefs (Wild card)
#4 seed: Jets (Wild card)
#5 seed: Texans (Wild card)
#6 seed: Patriots (Wild card)
Well we knew when the Pittsburgh Steelers traded there 1st round pick for LA Rams QB Jared Goff they would be stupid not to sign him to a long term contract. But nobody could have seen this deal coming from the Steelers. Jared Goff has signed a deal for 5 years worth $129 million with $57 million guaranteed. Goff will make $18 million a year with a $7.8 million signing bonus, this blockbuster signing keeps Goff in the Steel City and Steelers fans are going crazy with joy knowing they will have a top teir QB for 5 years in the Black and Gold. We asked the Owner of Pittsburgh why did they go all in for Goff, he responded "Are you crazy?? Why would we not is the question. Goff is a 24 year old QB who is by far a TOP HALF QB talent and you think we would even think of letting that kind of QB hit FA?? Your crazy." we talked to Goff he responded "I could not ask for a better team, better coach or better Owner to sign with. We all sat down together and talked about what we wanted on both sides and we came to an agreement for what we both were and are comfortable with." well it seems like both sides are happy about this deal and with this signing the Steelers will be left with $17 million going into the offseason to FA so they will have to be carful on who they want to go for.
With the Pakers taking down the LA Rams for there 1st loss of the season 2 weeks ago there are only 2 teams left undefeated. The GB Packers which comes to no ones surprise and the 12th Man Seattle Seahawks. With the Seahawks still having to play the LA Rams means they are not out of the woods yet for an undefeated season. The Packers on the other hand look like the will stay undeafeted but looks can be deceiving, could an upset happen?? But in any case the only thing we could hope for is that these 2 teams meet in the playoff in the NFC Championship game with undeafeted records to settle once and for all who is the best this season in the NFC. But what do you guys say who is better GB or SEA?? You be the Judge.
Nobody Cares News Network
Week 8 is here and the topic of today is undefeated teams. With the Bengals losing to the LA Rams there are only 3 teams left (Rams, Packers, Seahawks) that are unbeaten and now its a race to see who will last longer to the end of the season. The team that we here at Nobody Cares News Network think will stay unbeaten longer is the GB Packers and here is why. The Seahawks have a hard season ahead of them with playing Pittsburgh this week and having to play the Rams a 2nd time were the 1st time they met Seattle barely tied the game we expect the Seahawks to either lose to the Steelers or the 2nd meeting with the Rams but time will tell. Now the LA Rams have an easier match ups remaining but again the Rams tied the Seahawks but also beat the Bengals so the Rams look to be in control of there own fate the 2 games that stick out are the Arizona game and Pittsburgh only because they just traded for Goff this season and he will for sure want to have revenge and beat his old team plus they still have the Seahawks to play the 2nd time around. So the Packers have there division locked down and there remaining games for the Packers looks weak as ever plus who really in the NFC can stand up to this Packer team? We see the Rams going 13-2-1 the Seahawks at 12-3-1 and the Packers at 15-1. But tell us what you think these teams will do this season in the comments below!!
Ok we all know the Patriots were trying to ship 4th ovr. QB Gilbert Gilchrist off to fill some big holes in the team. Well a deal went down early Tuesday mornning as the Cleveland Browns reached out to the GM of New England and worked out a deal. The Browns send Larry Ogunjobi (NT, 25) and Jabrill Peppers (SS, 23) to NE and the Patriots send Gilchrist (QB, 21) to Cleveland. Ok lets break down this trade to find the winner and loser. 1st off many fans of the New England Patriots were (and are) very confused why the team would send 2 1st round picks and 1 2nd to the NYG (giving them pick #4) to draft a QB (Gilchrist) then talk about and activly look to trade the rookie QB when they never gave the said QB a chance to play a full season as a Patriot, clearly the Giants won that trade now due to this trade. The trade it self is not bad, the Patriots last week traded for Steelers 2nd string QB Mason Rudolph and the Patriots have many holes to fill on D so the trade on the NE side is somewhat fair, but on the Cleveland side the tarde looks like a steal and here is why. The Browns look studly on the D side of things and the Browns have struggled on the Offensive side of things this trade gives them the boost they need to get things started, by looking at the trade and the teams I'd have to say the Browns are the winners of this trade but only the season will tell if maybe the Patriots had seen something in Gilchrist that they didn't like or a possible problem but agian only time will tell and show the true Winner and Loser.
The New England Patriots have gotten support from an unlikley source due to an unlikey player. Moritz Boehringer the Patriots TE has gathered a huge following and its compleately understandable with his performnce last week. The 25 year old TE is from Stuttgart, Germany where most of these new fans are coming from, the young TE had a great game last week against the Philladephia Eagles with his total stats of 6 rec. 78 yards and 1 TD in the land slide win against the Eagels. Boehringer has over 300 yards this season and 4 TDs and we asked him how it feels to have some German Futbol fans start to watch Football more because of him he said "I just wanted to play the game that I love, it's crazy to see how much of an impact im having in my home country, I just hope to keep playing well and make it to the Super Bowl with New England" well said by the young TE. The Patriots move to 3-3 with the win over the Eagles (27-0) and there fan base looks to be in great shape as the Pats look forward to next week.
Just before the new week started the New England Patriots traded for Steelers backup QB Mason Rudolph. With the Patriots having a huge intrest in Rudolph last season they finally worked out a deal with the Steelers as the Steelers send Rudolph and a 4th (Giants) for the Patriots 2nd round pick of this year, as the trade rumors of NE trying to trade there 1st round pick 4th ovr. Gilchrist (QB) saying that he has not worked out like they hoped but ESPN has said they need to give the rookie QB more time to get use to the NFL but NE looks like there in this "Win Now" state of mind. NE is looking for a 1st round pick for Gilchrist but at this point most teams wont pay that over drafting a new QB but time will tell if any teams will make a move.
Well here we are agian. The Pittsburgh Steelers are involed in a big trade again this season. The LA Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to a trade deal involving LA QB J. Goff. The Steelers well be sending there 1st and 4th round draft picks to LA while LA send All Star QB Jerad Goff. After the disappointing loss to the Bengals the Steelers finalized the deal for Goff shortly after the loss, Goff is expected to arrive in Pittsburgh in the next few days. We also asked newly hired coach Pitta about getting Goff he said "A guy like Goff is a great addition to this team and im ready to see what he's got" so sounds like the Steelers might have some hope for the rest of the season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have struggled for the 2nd season opener on back to back seasons, with the team making some major moves last season moving on from coach Tomlin and trading LeVeon Bell to Jacksonville, the Steelers have struggled to get wins early on in the season, experts say it could be the QB position thats to blame with Drew Brees getting hurt 2 games back to back the Steelers started QB Mason Rudolph with little to no success throwing for little over 100 yards and 1 TD and still losing to Arizona. We ask Pittsburgh's owner what the next move for them will be he replyed "We need to play better on offense plain and simple, as for the QB position were looking to the draft to solve that problem." clearly the Steelers are looking to solve the problem next year and not for this season, the next question would be is will Pittsburgh make the playoffs or just barely miss out like last season.
