Steelers Dogpounded...

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ray Fittipaldo reporting live from First Energy Stadium. The Pittsburgh Steelers lost on the road 38-16 in a true old fashioned asswhoopin'. The Steelers Defense had absolutely no answer or plan in stopping Tyrod Taylor who finished the game 14/15 for 355 Yards and 4 Touchdowns. It seemed liked every time he dropped back with the ball in hand, there was a monstrous gain to follow. Veteran CB Joe Haden on the humiliating day " When the defensive unit gives up 439 total yards, we're going to have a hard time winning these games. We have to find a way to lock down this pass Defense. Our Dline was able to get pressure for us, we just need to execute. I felt like maybe we were too agressive in our approach.

Meanwhile, the only real solid performance for the offense was recently acquired WR Demaryius Thomas, Who finished with 6 receptions for 120 Yards. The Steelers running game was largely eliminated in totality, 11attempts-17 Yards. This is not the running game that Coach Tomlin is wanting this year, " 1.54 Yards per attempt is some bullshit man, My Grandmother can do better then that. We Have to find a way to attack with the ball, Its going to be a long season. Thankfully, this is only one week. So we look forward to a good week of practice here this week, and we'll try to minimize some of these mistakes as we get ready to face a young, but talented offense led by QB Mahomes, Thanks for your time"

Changing of the Guard in the Steel City

Prominent NFL Reporter Adam Schefter with breaking news out of Pittsburgh this evening following abrubt news conference with team owner Franco Harris. "Hello to you all, and thank you for your time. On behalf of the Steelers organization, I would like to thank Rb Le'veon Bell for his tenure here in Pittsburgh. At this time, an agreement has been made that will send him down there to Houston in Exhange for RG Zach Fulton, a 2019 1st round, and 2019 2nd round picks. Let's get something right, when I played as long as I did here in Pittsburgh as the lead back I earned my place on that field. When I played ball back in my day, Jet-ski's were the closest dolphin or shark you could find. So when I see this young kid down in Miami frolicking with the marine life.. instead of here earning 800+,000 dollars a week, and still asking for more money? That's not going to fly jack. I want guys that want to be part of this team. The Rooney family has entrusted me with this Dynasty. I will not have it tarnished by that kind of crap, you either earn your keep or your ass is gone. Again, thanks for your time"
