Sheldon Henigay - Sharp Cheddar

Sheldon Henige. Nerd. Cheeser. Amish bitch.

In a league full of cheese, Henige prevails as the cheesiest.  From Leo and Coke’s slot streaks to Legit’s PA Post, or even YoAss drags, nothing is gayer than Henige running in circles with his safety at sub lb. At points in the league, multiple sources have confirmed, he is in fact the only nerd doing this. As user lb took a hit last madden, so did Henige and his montages of him picking off some poor 12 year old for the 9th time in madden 19. Henige is and always will be a cheesy bitch and a sore loser. After losing to ovo in playoffs all he had to say was “K.” He has denied blocking me after losing 3 straight games to a “bottom feeder” that “plays like a girl”, but we all know he has the mentality of a 12 year old girl experiencing mother nature for the first time. He may win the division, but don’t worry, he’s headed for another first round exit.

Dirty Bird’s QB Carousel

Dirty Bird’s QB Carousel

With the trade for Rayne Dakota Prescott that leaves us to wonder, has the qb carousel in Atlanta finally come to an end? The Atlanta Falcons made a controversial move at the beginning of last season trading their 1st rd pick for Jalen Hurts, speedster Marquese Goodwin, and a 2nd round pick in return. The assumption was that Hurts would be the replacement for long time franchise qb and former league MVP, Matty Ice.

The Falcons started last season with Matt Ryan leading the offense, which was expected to be the case. However, a disappointing season that had the Falcons out of the playoff hunt by week 13 led to the insertion of rookie qb Jalen Hurts. He had a disappointing end of the season, but with the release of a declining Matt Ryan, Hurts was lined up to be the starter in 2021.  Jalen Hurts started week 1 and had another disappointing performance against the division rival New Orleans Saints. The Coach/GM, Buford T. Gains had seen enough. Typically you see a longer leash given to rookie qbs, but with the falcons signing their top players to extensions, and some of those guys getting older, they’re looking to win now.

Week 2, 2021, the Falcons made another move at the qb position. A surprise trade that landed them Dak Prescott. The Cowboys tagged Dak, but drafted a qb in the 1st round and were looking to move on from the 2x pro bowl QB. There is some speculation that the Falcons overpaid for Dak, sending the Cowboys their next 2 1st round picks. After speaking with Coach Buford, he told us that the original deal was for a 2021 first and a 2022 second, but was declined by league officials, saying that “Dak is worth more” even though he was on an expiring deal and the cowboys couldn’t resign him. Coach Buford is still scratching his head on that one, but decided to move forward with the deal to lock up a franchise QB. Will Dak be the answer the Falcons are looking for? We will see soon enough.

Bears Best Vikings 44-3

The Chicago Bears open the season against the Vikings after a dissapointing loss in the Super Bowl. The Bears came out to prove that they are here to contend again. In a 44-3 win, the offense looked great, and the defense dominated. MVP Tarik Cohen picked up where he left off with 22 carries for 153 yards. 3rd year QB Mitchell Trubisky was 10-15 for 178 yards and 2 TDs, most of which came in the first half due to their large lead. TJ Watt made his debut with the Bears after being acquired in an offseason trade, he only had 2 tackles, but did get an interception in his first game. Prince Amukamara had 2 ints and Danny Trevathan had one as well. The Bears look to carry this momentum into Detroit next week for what should be a tough division game.

Bears Looking to Bounce Back From SB

The bears look to enter the 2020 season without a hangover from their Superbowl loss. They have agreed to a trade with the Pittsurgh Steelers to acquire LOLB TJ Watt by sending multiple 2nd rd picks. The bears are switching to a 3-4 defense this season with the addition of TJ Watt. This defense is going to be tough to score on, that's for sure. Tarik Cohen looks to carry his success over into next season following his MVP campaign. He rushed for 1938 yards with 22 TDs to earn MVP honors. He is an Xfactor, pun intended, on this Bears offense that led the league in rushing. Khalil Mack finished the season with 34.5 sacks. This bears roster looks ready to compete for another championship after falling short. The Bears hope to be back in the superbowl this season, even though they have many doubters.

The King in The North

Bears maul Lions to take sole lead of NFC North. The Bears win 27-3 in a game between the two teams that were sitting atop the division. Despite the score, the bears had some trouble moving the ball against the Lions defense. Trubisky was 10/17 for 119 yrds, 1TD, 1INT in his return from injury. Tarik Cohen added another 100 yard game and a touchdown with 16 carries, 101yrds, 1TD. The bears really took control of the game in the second quarter on a pick 6 by Kyle Fuller that put the Bears up 7-0 and they never looked back. Khalil Mack was a menace with 4 sacks, breaking Micheal Strahan's single season record. The pressure, along with great coverage forced Stafford to throw 3 interceptions. The turnovers were key in this game. The Bears look to stay in first place as they face the Rams in week 11, but do own the tiebreaker now in the North.

Daaaa Bears

Daaa Bears pull out a 45-23 win against the LA Chargers. This brings the bears to 4-3 on the season and puts them right back in the thick of the division race. Tarik Cohen had a huge day running 17 times for 170 yards and 4TDs and adding 4 catches for 29 yards. Cohen wasn't the only Bears RB to have a good game. Mike davis carried the ball 6 times for 38 yards and a TD. Rookie RB David Montgonery got carries late in the game, 5 carries, 32 yrds, 1TD. All 6 of the Bears touchdowns came on the ground. Trubisky had a mediocre day, 12/17, 133 yrds, 1 int. The Bears defense reaked havoc on the Chargers passing game, forcing Phillip Rivers to throw 3 interceptions. Khalil Mack added a sack, his season total is now up to 18. The bears look to continue playing great D and running the ball, hopefully that formula can take them to the playoffs.

Bears passing offense in hibernation against Raiders

The sturggles for Mitch Trubisky continue against the Oakland Raiders. Oakland got out to an early 14-0 lead that was too much to overcome for a run heavy Bears offense. Trubisky was 10-17 for 117 with 1 int. The Bears run game continued to look great with the two headed attack of Tarik Cohen(15 car, 110 yrds, 2TDs) and Mike Davis(10 car, 89 yrds, TD). The bears defense struggled to stop the Raider passing attack led by Derek Carr and were sexually assaulted by Antonio Brown. Khalil Mack added to his insane sack total on the year with 1.5 sacks, bringing him to 15.5 on the season. The Bears fall to 2-3 on the season after the 34-24 loss. With a bye week coming up the Bears are looking to focus on improving their passing attack and bringing their defense back to form after allowing Derek Carr to throw for 300 yards.
