GAME OF THE WEEK

When you think about shootouts you’d be forgiven if you’re first thought wasn’t back to 1865 when wild bill Hickok and Davis Tutt stepped outside the saloon in Springfield, Missouri for a duel to set a gambling debt straight, fast forward 155 years and another shootout was set to commence in Carolina. A barrage of shots were fired in this game both on the ground and through the air, 8 total passing touchdowns and 4 rushing helped amass a total score of 93 points. 48 of those points were put up by Carolina quarterback teddy Bridgwater in his first starting job since that horrific knee injury suffered while he was still a Minnesota Viking, he stood in the pocket all day and delivered, never fearing contact putting up career highs in passing yards (488 yds) and touchdowns (4 TDS) he was also helped along the way by star running back Christian Mccaffery who had 99 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDS a great day out for this new dynamic duo for the panthers. On the other side we had another dynamic duo, rookie Justin Herbert and josh Jacobs both put up big numbers as well, though you could tell which qb was a seasoned vet and which was just a rook. For all that Herbert was spectacular he was also disastrous at times, throwing 5 interceptions which did not help his teams efforts on the day, but give him credit he never let his head drop and kept slinging it like a young Peyton Manning some could say :eyes: At the end of the game though there was little doubt as to who the star of this show was and that was the man aptly named teddy “two” gloves. Both men fired on the field of battle today, Herbert rushed, wild ted two gloves didn’t. @everyone @Panthers - BLT814 @Raiders - Du5t1n812

Jiggy Jags

After a slow start and what looked to be a doom filled year following a deep PO run last year. The Jags have rattled off some decent wins. Not necessarily pretty wins but WINS. Will this Def continue to thrive and keep them in games? Can Newly acquired Winston and Godwin keep the Jags offense humming long enough to duplicate last years success? The Jags are in possession of the lead of the AFC South and hold a PO birth in there hands as of now!

FNSL 2 Dynasty?!?

Is this FNSL2 first Dynasty? Will someone dethrone the reigning champs before histories first ever 3 peat!? As President of this Great league I'd like to Congratulate the Owner, coach, staff, & players of the Atlanta Falcons for a 2nd straight Super Bowl Victory and beyond that on the Perfect Season 18-0!

To be or Not to be?

That is the question....This 3-1 Buc's team is sporting one of the best records this frachise has seen in the past decade at the 1/4 mark. But you dont hear much boasting from most fans. They've seen this movie before and it always ends in an upheavel of disappointment and huge losing streaks. So the question is how will this upgraded OL hold up for the runnign and passing game this season? Will the new D make better and biggers strides this year? Well we'll soon see with some tough games on the horizon with the Bears first and and Falcons team shortly after that. Will this be the year for the XML Buc's to finally do something other than get a highly touted rookie with ANOTHER top 5 -10 pick? Or will this be another roller coaster season for the fans that ends up with the same sad ending as most other with the once feared and monsterous Pirate ship firing the cannons looking like the Titanic as it sinks off the coast of Florida while the fans start looking at top draft prospects in the middle of november!?

On Stranger Tides?!

Well there is no Johnny Depp, but many fans would agree he probably could have done anything just as well as these Buccaneers did this season just from acting! To say that the buccaneers were a dissappointment is an understatment. They made all the moves in the world it seemed to get tougher against the run across the D line. What seemed to be a strong but underrated Rookie class has shown that it has potential but why it was underrated (or rated correctly).  The Glazers have always been impatient when it comes to the team and its staff. I'm told that they have given GM & HC (Licht & Koetter) an extension though meaning they beleive the problem is elsewhere. They have made demands that DC be changed. I've also heard from league sources that there are rumblings of some big names being shopped around for the off season market. The Buccaneers are going to be heading in a new direction team wise when the draft gets here! So will these strangers tides be good, bad, or the ugly for TB? Only time will tell who stays and who walks the plank in Tampa...but Dead men tell no tales.

Don't call it a come back!

It wasnt necessarily the best offensive perforamce from Jacksonville. But the Jags did finally do enough to piece together a win. The Defense is what impressed most keeping them in the game and the Jets out. Winston is looking rattled in a Jags uniform. But he'll get use to the new system soon, we hope. This team gives Jamies something he's not had since he's been in the league, a DEF that can stop opponents and give him some missed opportunities back. Once he can get some timing down with his new weaponry on offense we'll likely see the Winston we all thought he'd be when the Buc's took him #1 overall.

Jigless Jags

After a season full of promise and Playoff birth in the 2017 season, the Jags have shown nothing similar since. The 2018 season has been a complete let down thus far. Granted we're only 3 weeks in but 0-2 isnt a good start for a former AFC Championship rd team. They'll need to figure it out and quickly if they want to have any success this season.
