The Red Zone 49ers have hired Leonard Washington as the CFM head coach. Coach Dub was a former head coach for the MEE Baltimore Ravens 2015-17, stepping away mid season during 2017 and returning to coaching in 2018.
What lead to the hire of Coach Dub was his no man is bigger then the team approach. With the sudden retirement of Coach Bryant leaving behind a 49-31 record, 2 division titles and 2 conference championship appearances (each to the Super Bowl champ) the expectation was set. To this day Coach Dub’s motto remains “What’s meant to be will be.” All we can do is control what’s in front of us.
To start off the RZ41 2022 season our HOME OPENERWEEK 1 we faced Coach Parelli’s Arizona Cardinals losing 31-17 on a 4th and goal pick 6 stealing the win. THROWBACK WEEK 2another divisional opponent in Coach Chapstick’s LA Rams also falling in defeat 34-16. COLOR RUSH WEEK 3 a playoff rematch against Coach Adelmann’s Minnesota Vikings a defensive battle leading to a 17-10 defeat. BATTLE OF THE 0ERS WEEK 4 arguably the best game of RZ41 against Coach Spooner’s Carolina Panthers we finally come away victorious receiving our very first win under Coach Dub. With Coach Porter dealing with personal issues in WEEK 5 we again take care of business this time on the road winning 29-9. With a bye next week we look to continue to build momentum facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs who came away big in there last game. The organization has an understanding there will be a lot of new challenges ahead and #ROCNation and #RZ49ers are prepared to show the rest of the league that we are here!
