Jets clear of turbulance?

Jets move on to 7-3 on the season after a roller coaster ride the past few weeks. HC Mason Eakin was interviewed shortly after the win vs the 49ers this week. NCN reporter ask"How's it feel to get back to adding another tally to the win column?" Eakin replied "Feels great to getting back to playing smart football. We played some good clubs over the past few weeks and we made multiple mistakes that hurt us early on " NCN reporter ask "What can we expect from the jets for the rest of the season?" Eakin replied " Expect some smashmouth football. Our focus is on the dolphins, we need to be able to put points on the scoreboard, we have struggled in the redzone and are looking to change that." Jets Defensive End rookie Dj Douglas is out for approx 5 weeks with a broken thumb. The team will feel that loss over the next few weeks. Da'shawn Hand was resigned for depth to replace him.

Tensions high in Indy

The Colts have been highly competitive through the first 3 weeks of the season with losses decided by 15 points or less. They are currently sitting on a 1-2 record, but it isn’t because of lack of offense. The Colts are currently averaging 27 PPG(6th), with their defense allowing 29 PPG (27th). The colts only have 1 interception and 2 Forced fumbles this season.

The Colts made it a point to bolster up their defense in the off season acquiring MLB Darron Lee, CB Dre Kirkpatrick, CB Tony Lippett and DT Bennie Logan which are all currently starting. They can expect to stay at the bottom of the Division if the Defense continues to self destruct in key moments of the game.
