BL Awards Season 5

After a long long wait (sorry) here are your BL Awards for season 5:

Most Improved: 72.2% Steel (9-7 to 13-2-1 NFC Champ); Others receiving votes: 27.8% Kook (2-14 to 11-5, WC win over Ben)
It was a legitmate big improvement by Steel from season 4 to season 5. He wemt from not making playoffs to winning the NFC, which is very funny seeing as currently in season 6 he went from NFC champ to potentially missing the playoffs.

Play of the Year: 44.4% "Connor tip ball TD" https://clips.twitch.tv/PlausibleHomelyChickpeaAMPTropPunch-Zc0PIAmEmo957GRw
Im not sure how this won tbh, the only nice part was Connor getting a little sticky after the catch, but if it was me that had this happed to I wouldve been called a lucky POS and received 0 votes, smh.

Fail of the Year: 61.1% "Tank SZN" https://www.twitch.tv/betterleaguenetwork/clip/KindBashfulTapirFutureMan-jT6K-I4R7Ti8UARs?filter=clips&range=30d&sort=time
This was an obvious winner, this game resaulted in a harsh punishment from Kook and was a catalyst in the booting of Marwan. I will dive deeper into this game later in the article...

Connor Rice Man of The Year: Connor (3 votes); others receiving votes: Dan (2 votes), Justin (2 votes), BLN (2 votes)
This is also a no doubter, Connor commentated 3 playoff games in a row, among other things. He absolutely embodies the spirit of the great Connor Rice himself. (side note, Morty voted me for MOTY because of the awards and im sorry for the disapointment lol)

Bman Memorial Hang in there Bud Award: 38.9% Nick (1-15); Others receiving votes: 33.3% lil Alex
I honestly dont really get it, when I played Nick he kept it close most of the game and I feel like he keeps it close almost everytime i watch his games. He just needs to get more consistent against lower tier users and I think he could make arun up to a potential 8-8 season in the future.

Best Rivalry: 33.3% Phil vs Hero Austin; others receiving votes: 27.8% Justin vs WC round, 22.2% Lil Alex vs Austin
Honesty I think that there was voter fatigue with Lil Alex vs Austin only getting 3rd in voting. Phil and Hero had a little slack spat, but it didn't become a huge thing except in Steels eyes.

Best Division: NFC West (37-27)
This divison is the best by far, its the only division where theres 3 playoff teams most years. You have to go at least like 13-3 to win the division, which is insane for a division (especially mine)

Worst Division: AFC South (27-37)
Dont worry, I wont sit here defending this division as I have in the past. Cam is burnt out, Chap is still inconsistent, and Gamble throws to 1 guy to get him stats.

Most Overrated: Justin (3 votes); Others receiving votes: Steel (2 Votes) Alex (2 Votes) Connor (2 Votes) Cody (2 Votes)
I would defend myself, but I honestly have nothing to show to defend myself. Like I have 1 playoff win and was the 1 seed once, I will say tho, the people that voted for Steel mayyy have been correct.

Most Underrated: Gamble (3 votes); Others receiving votes: Kiing (2 Votes) Kook (2 Votes)
This is actually a bit of a surprise after people calling my division completely trash, but I can see how he was voted for. Much like what I said about Nick, Gamble can keep it close against many users and averages a good amount of points per game.

Most Disappointing: 55.6% Marwan/Kook; Others receiving votes: 22.2% Dan, 22.2% Jesse
Here we go, both players were actively trying to lose the game, Kook wanted to lose to avoid Ben, but he won this game and beat Ben to somewhat redeem himself. Marwan just straight up tanked which was one of the reasons why he ended up being booted unfortunatly.

Jerod Memorial Most Toxic Award: Cody (3 Votes); Others receiving votes: Justin (2 Votes) Ben (2 Votes) Phil (2 Votes)
This can pretty much be summed up in the clip of Cody drunkinly shit talking Lil Alex. Cody went from being the sweet christian boy to the asshole drunk, some say Cody deserved for the bouncer to break his toe (jk cody i love you, please dont hurt me)

Meet the Colts Rookies 2909292

Meet The Colts Rookies: 2022 Draft

Round 1:

Pick 14, OG Zach Barton, Michigan

Born in Munising, Michigan, Zach Barton never thought he would make it big coming out of a small fishing town. He played great in highschool, but he never had any attention from a D1 school. After his senior year in HS, his father won a bass fishing tournament which won him $50,000 which he used to pay for Zach's tuition to walk on to Michigan as a freshman. Zach didn’t get a chance to play until junior year when the starting and backup Center both got hurt, he played outstanding in relief, most notably in the Cotton Bowl where he held future Saints 1st round pick Jimmy Warton to no sacks and just 1 pressure. From there on he was named the starter for senior year and he absolutely locked things down, he played every position except Left Tackle.

Pick 22, CB Orlando Hatchett, Miami

Hatchett is Miami born and raised, he grew up watching highlights of the classic Miami defenses in the past and always dreamed of one day carrying the turner chain around his neck. During highschool he played great whilst showing off his exaggerated swagger of a black youth.  He joined the Hurricanes as a 5 star recruit and saw that turnover chain many times in his 3 season college career, he was on pace to tie Ed Reed's INT total of 21 before he decided to head to the draft after his junior year.

Round 2:

Pick 22, MLB Jelani Poindexter, Virginia Tech

Jelani was born in Atlanta and struggled with anger issues his entire youth, this probably came from when his father who is an Atlanta rapper was shot and robbed when Jelani was just 12. Although his father survived, it stuck with Jelani as he got into many fights between middle school and high school. Eventually his high school coach told him that if he gets another detention then he will be pulled from the team. This fired Jelani up on the football field, he had 15 tackles and 2 forced fumbles in his high school state championship game. Although he had success in HS, the only D1 offers he got were from Virginia Tech and Marshall. He chose to attend Virginia Tech where he led them in defense to a peach bowl win over Auburn in his hometown of Atlanta his senior year.

Pick 32, TE Devin Rhodes, Marshall

Born in Huntington, WV, Devin grew up a Marshall fan, and he was such a big fan that he chose to play for Marshall instead of playing at Bama who offered him a scholarship as well. At Marshall he broke the record for TD receptions in a season junior year, and helped Marshall appear in the CafeFrisco Bowl.

Meet The Rookies: Season 1

Meet The Colts Rookies: 2021 Draft

Round 1: S Terrelle Dunn, Ohio State
Terrelle was born in Canton, Ohio and growing up near the Pro Football Hall of Fame he always dreamt of one day being immortalized in the great hall himself one day. That motivation was telling on the football field where he starred at WR and Safety in highschool, he passed up on a WR scholarship at Alabama to play Safety at his home state OSU. At Ohio State he garnered national attention when he picked off 3 passes against Purdue, that game helped him make it to the College Football awards his Junior year where he was the runner up for the Jim Thorpe Award to the winner, Rams 1st round pick Jalen Daniels.

Round 2: DE Erick Melvin, Kansas

Erick was born in a small town in Nebraska named Fairfield. His mother died tragically in a car accident when Erick was very young so he doesn't remember here much. This left his dad who is a farmer to raise Erick himself, growing up on a farm taught Erick toughness and perseverance which showed huge on the football field as he dominated in highschool. Unfortunately playing at a small highschool didn’t get him any D1 offers, so he elected to enroll at a Junior college, Mid Plains Junior College in North Platte, Nebraska. His play there got the attention of the University of Kansas who offered him a spot on the team. At Kansas he played great, most notably in the Alamo Bowl where he sacked Texas A&M QB and Seahawks draft pick Matthias Branch 3 times, including a sack on 4th down to seal the game for Kansas.

Round 3: S Chuck Boston, Bethune-Cookman

Chuck was born in poverty in Jacksonville, Florida where he was exposed to racism at a young age, he witnessed his dad get jumped by a group of guys when he was just 6 years old. He channeled his anger and took it out on offensive players on the football field, he set the state record for forced fumbles his senior year which made him a perfect fit for the University of Miami. In one of the most surprising events, he chose to play at HBCU Bethune-Cookman instead of the expected Miami. When asked why he said, “I want to show the people back home that you can be black and excellent, so I want to give to a college that has protruded black excellence for decades”. As expected he dominated at Beth Cookman leading the team in tackles and forced fumbles his senior year, helping them win the Celebration Bowl against Gambling State.

WR Kurt Calhoun, Penn State

Kurt was born in Anchorage, Alaska where he played basketball and football in highschool. Seeing his talent, his parents decided to move to Washington DC, where he finished his Junior and Senior year playing QB, where he played good but not great. His only D1 offer was Florida Atlantic, but he decided to walk on to Penn State where he was the backup to Bills QB Austin Peerman. Senior year he made the big decision to move over to WR which turned out to be career saving as he was Peerman’s favorite target, racking up 1,200 yards and 12 TDs. In

Full Madden 20 recap

One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish,
Black fish, Blue fish, Old fish, New fish.
This one has a littlecar.
This one has a little star.
Say! What a lot of fish there are.
Yes. Some are red, and some are blue.
Some are old and some are new.
Some are sad, and some are glad,
And some are very, very bad.
Why are they sad and glad and bad?
I do not know, go ask your dad.
Some are thin, and some are fat.
The fat one has a yellow hat.
From there to here,
From here to there,
Funny things are everywhere.
Here are some who like to run.
They run for fun in the hot, hot sun.
Oh me! Oh my! Oh me! oh my!
What a lot of funny things go by.
Some have two feet and some have four.
Some have six feet and some have more.
Where do they come from? I can't say.
But I bet they have come a long, long way.
we see them come, we see them go.
Some are fast. Some are slow.
Some are high. Some are low.
Not one of them is like another.
Don't ask us why, go ask your mother.

2023-24 BL Awards Results

BETTER LEAGUE AWARDS:

Play of the Year:

"Tyreek is Ridiculous" https://clips.twitch.tv/MistyEncouragingPoxVoteNay                                                                                  I think this was a pretty obvious choice, that hurdle tho, ????

Most Improved:

Ben(Falcons) 11-5 to 19-0 SB champions                Again another pretty obvious choice, Ben seemed absolutely unstoppable last season, with a great mix of improved stick skills and an amazing team backing him, he showed just how important building a good team is.

Sexy Rexy:

Russel Murphy, NO (64.7%, 5116 yds, 11.2 avg, 41 TDs, 37 INTs)
This award was tightly contested, Murphy ended with 52.9% and Pats QB Tyree Jackson ended with 42.9%, with 3 more picks I assume that's why Murphy was voted for more than Jackson.

Connor Rice Man of The Year award:

Connor Rice                                                         Connor and I were the only people who received more than 1 vote. Connor nearly edged me out with 3 votes. Honestly we saw this coming, he came back to the league to solely commentate and pop out some fire podcasts. Although Connor won, I have to say Cody was snubbed. Cody brought in a SB viewership record of 37 viewers this year and commentated games with amazing production value and quality throughout the playoffs.

"Hang in there, Bud" Award:

The Taint(Panthers)                                                    Unfortunately this is the only back to back award Tainty will win this cycle, but hey, I've won this award in madden 17 but fought back to a couple SB appearances, so take this award as motivation and make people SMELLLLLLL, WHAT. THE. TAINT. IS COOKIN

Best Rivalry:

Dan(Jags) vs Nick Chubb                                                   This was surprisingly (to me) a bit of a blowout with Dan vs Chubb getting 46% of the voting. Dan has had a big time love-hate relationship with Chubb as he's one of the best backs in the league stat wise, but with 96 Carrying, seems to always fumble in big games and in big time situations. Luckily for Ocho, his Fumble with Ballage that costed him the SB against Alex has been losing some of its significance with all the fumbles Chubb has has, but let us never forget the great moment.

Best Division:

NFC South                                                            With the team that went 19-0, The Saints going 13-3, and the Bucs going 11-5, (let's not talk about taint). It was pretty obvious this division would win, with a combined record of 41-23 (40 of those between 3 team, which has to be a record)

Worst Division:

AFC East                                                               Unfortunately for the AFC East, this might've been the biggest upset for any award this season. With a better combined record than the two other divisions they were going against, the AFC East wins with 64.7% of the voting at a combined record of 28-35-1.

Most Overrated:

Austin (Cardinals)                                                                     With 3 votes, Austin narrowly beats out Ben and Myself who each had 2. I don't exactly agree, but I can see where people are coming from with voting Austin. He seems to not be caring as much as he used to and it's been showing, but then again, he handled Cody pretty easily in the NFC playoffs.

Most Underrated:

Chapteroll(Raiders)                                                     Chap won this award with a wide margain, most believe, including me, that he is a contender to make the playoffs if he was in a weaker division. All I gotta say is good luck with all this pressure for Madden 21.

Most Dissapointing:

Cloud(Colts)                                                        With McDougald finally getting SS dev, you would think Cloud would you know, do something with it? I guess this award shows how much Cloud has become a shell of his former madden 17 self.

Jerod Memorial (Most toxic user) Award:

StraitWreckn(Eagles)                                                    I have personally had little interaction with him, but he got the entire population of Rhode Island mad at him when he said RI's favorite son, Dan, looked like a virgin.

And that is it for the BL Awards, thank you if you read the whole thing, if you have any issues with my formatting or anything, I passed senior year English with a D-.                                                     P.S. I saw I was voted for most toxic a couple times and if you have anything mean to say to me, @alexg_chargers will boot you. Love you all ;)

Packers 19-20 season recap

Week 1: Packers 27 Bears 3 (1-0)

Much like the real life week 1 game, the Defense made up for a not great offensive performance. The Defense only allowed 3 points and the were all in the first quarter. This doubled with Rodgers throwing for a TD, Jones ran for 100 and a TD. Trevor Davis returned a punt for a TD. The Defense held the Bears under 100 passing and 100 rushing yards, caused 2 fumbles and picked Bisky off once.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Jones(you'll be seeing this a lot) 22 Carries 135 Yards and 1 TD

Defensive Game Ball: Darnell Savage 7 Tackles 2 TFL 1INT 1 FF

Week 2 Packers 37 Vikings 13 (2-0)

This game was another defensive masterpiece were the offense was carried by Aaron Jones, Cousins threw 2 picks and Dalvin Cook fumbles twice. In all it was the defense and turnovers that lost slander the game.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Jones  22 Carries 162 Yards and 2 TDs along with 26 receiving yards

Defensive Game Ball: there wasn't really 1 standout as it was abreast team effort, but Blake Martinez 3 Tackles 1 Sack 1 FF

Week 3 Packers 23 Broncos 18 (3-0)

Like the first two games, this was another great team defense with Aaron Jones Carrying the offense. the Defense held Kareem Hunt to 3.4 YPC and a fumble despite Phil pounding the rock with 27 carries,. The game was 20 to 9 at half and we were just barely able to hold on in the end.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Jones 20 Carries 142 yards 1 TD, also broke off a 75 yard TD

Defensive Game Ball: Dylan Cole 8 Tackles 1 TFL 1 Sack 1 INT 1 FF

Week 4 Packers 36 Eagles 28 (4-0)

This was one of the worst defensive games by our defense in a win this season, but it was just enough to topple Kiings Eagles. Rodgers only passed for 72 and a pick, a big part of the game was Desean Jackson fumbling on 2 returns.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Jones 13 Carries 133 yards 2 TDs

Defensive Game Ball: Dylan Cole 13 Tackles 2 TFL 2 FF

Week 5: Packers 26 Cowboys 14 (5-0)

Probably the best Defensive performance this season, causing Dak to throw 98 yards, 5 picks, and got sacked 4 times. The defense also only allowed the MVP and Rushing leader Ezekiel Elliot to 89 yards on 17 carries. Also only allowed a 15 yard run as his high.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Jones 21 Rushes 119 Yards 1TD

Defensive Game Ball Dylan Cole 11 Tackles 1 TFL 1 Sack 1 INT

Week 6 Packers 45 Lions 17 (6-0)

FW (but a weird stat, backup RB Jamaal Williams 8 Carries 4 TDS!!!)

Week 7 Packers 38 Raiders 10 (7-0)

A big game to prove that we can pass when needed, Aaron Jones was held under 100 for the first time this season, but Rodgers, MVS, and Devantae Adams made up for it in a big way with both Receivers going for over 100 yards and MVS with 2 TD receptions on just 2 catches.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Rodgers Perfect passer rating of 158.3 exactly like the real life game against the Raiders. 330 Yards and 3 TDs 0 Int for the first time this season

Defensive Game Ball: Za'Darius Smith 4 Tackles 2 Sacks and 2 FF

Week 8 Packers 30 Chiefs 35 (7-1)

The Chiefs came to play with Mahomes throwing for 344 and 4 TDs, 2 of which were to Tyreek Hill. Rodgers threw for 402, but 5 Picks. 2 of them were to DB Kendall Fuller.

Offensive Game Ball: TIE Aaron Jones 20 Rushes 174 Yards 2 TDs and Devantae Adams 6 Rec 155 Yards 2 TDs

Defensive Game Ball: Jaire Alexander 4 Tackles 2 INTs 1 Deflection

Week 9 Packers 17 Chargers 34 (7-2)

The packers were completely manhandled in this SB preview. Gordon ran all over us while Aaron Jones got shut down, Mike Williams had 8 catches for 115 yards, Hunter Henry had numerous Catches on defenders. In all just a poor effort by both offense and defense.

Offensive Game Ball: MVS 3 Rec 57 yards 2 TDs

Defensive Game Ball: Dylan Cole 9 Tackles 1 FF

Week 10 Packers 51 Panthers 37 (8-2)

Now this is what you call a Payback game! After two weeks of getting out ass handed to us we take our frustrations out on the panthers, putting up 51. This was a Shootout where the loser was determined by the amount of turnovers you had. The panthers won that turnover game with Cam Newton throwing 4 picks.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Rodgers 15/23 272 Yards 3 TDs 1 Int

Defensive Game Ball: Josh Jackson 2 Tackles 2 INT

Week 11: BYE

Week 12 Packers 10 49ers 21 (8-3)

Now this was a weird one. The only loss to a non playoff team out of division, 3 red zone turnovers really screwed us in this one as well as Jimmy G havig a good outing.

Offensive Game Ball: Devantae Adams 6 Rec 139 Yards

Defensive Game Ball: Dean Lowry 1 Tackle 1 Sack 1 FF

Week 12 Packers 52 Giants 0 (9-3)

Another huge bounce back game as we put up 42 in the first half and Devantae Adams gets suspended. Aaron Jones was quiet with 5 rushes for 10 yards while Jamaal Williams putting up 80 yards and Rodgers throwing 4 TDs. Giants QB threw for 5 INTs

Offensive Game Ball: Devantae Adams 6 Rec 245 Yards 3TD

Defensive Game Ball: Dylan Cole 10 Tackles 4 TFL 3 INT 3 Deflections

Week 14 Packers 27 Redskins 14 (10-3)

This was a revenge game for a couple past battles were Shawn whooped me. Despite their record, the Skins put up a fight, which they inevitably lost, despite shutting down Aaron Jones. The defense had one of their best games, sacking Haskins 7 times and picking him off 4 times.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Rodgers 19/29 399 Yards 3 TD 3 INT

Defensive Game Ball: Kenny Clark 3 Tackles 2.5 Sacks

Week 15 Packers 16 Bears 17 (10-4)

A heartbreaking loss to the divisional rivals, we had a lot of dumb mistakes doubled with Aaron Jones only rushing for 24 yards off 17 carries. The offense just couldn't keep up with their defensive abilities this game.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Rodgers 18/28 221 Yards 1 TD 2 Int

Defensive Game Ball: Dylan Cole 10 Tackles 1 TFL 1 INT

Week 16 Packers 20 Vikings 41 (10-5)

In our biggest loss of the season Aaron Rodgers throws 4 picks in a terrible effort by the offense, stupid decisions were made; allowing Minnesota to take a big lead early and never look back.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Jones 12 Rushes 123 Yards

Defensive Game Ball: Adrian Amos 5 Tackles 1 INT

Week 17 Packers 55 Lions 24

In a pretty much meaningless game we were able to pull off a big 2nd half putting up 38 points after a terrible first half. Aaron Jones was once agaian kinda shut down but other players were able to carry the loss as Jamaal Williams and Aaron Rodgers both rushed for a TD. The defense also had a TD in a Blake Martinez 93 yard pick 6 after intercepting a screen pass.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Rodgers 9/14 225 Yards 2 TD 2 INT 1 Rush 1 Yard 1 TD

Defensive Game Ball: Blake Martinez 5 Tackles 1 TFL 2 INT 1 TD combined for 127 yards returned

In all the Regular season was a great success in the start but began to spiral a little bit towards the end. If it wasn't for a couple wins we could've missed the playoffs, but we made it in at the 4 send and won the division. Aaron Rodgers ended 5th in the league with 4,082 passing yards and 29 TDs, and 34 INTs, which was a really off year interceptions wise but the yardage was nice. Devantae Adams ended 11th in Receiving yards with 1,212 yards and 11 TDs off of 52 receptions Jimmy Graham ended 2nd in the team with receptions with 50 and 5 TDs. MVS and Tae both averaged over 20 yards a catch.

Regular season Offensive MVP: Aaron Jones 1,526 Rushing Yards (8th) 15 TDs (6th) 271 Carries (9th) 37 Receptions 437 Rec Yards 2 Rec TDs

Regular Season Defensive MVP: Dylan Cole 112 Tackles (10th) 23 TFL (T-3rd) 2 Sacks 9 INT (T-4th) 5 FF (T-4th)

POST SEASON
Wildcard Packers 29 Falcons 23

An absolutely monsterous game for the defense. Allowing the 4th best team in PPG to just 21. Matty Ice turned into Matty panic as he threw 6 total INTs and a fumble. The offense didn't have to do much as Rodger only three for 126 and 2 TDs. Just safe football won is this game.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Jones 17 Rushes 106 Yards

Defensive Game Ball: Rashan Gary 9 Tackles 1 TFL 3 Sacks 1 INT

Divisional Packers 33 Seahawks 9

Despite the score, this was a close game. If it wasn't for Aaron Jones breaking out a couple huge run,  it would've been a lot closer. Rodgers again played safe throwing for 117 yards 1 TD and 1 INT while Russ threw 4 picks and just 99 yards

Offesnsive Game Ball: Aaron Jones 22 Carries 227 Yards and 2tds.

Defensive Game Ball: Dylan Cole 9 Tackles 2 TFL 1 INT

NFC Championship Game: Packers 32 Buccaneers 29

THE COMEBACK!!!!!! Down 19-7 at half, the troops, which included a clutch Darnell Savage pick 6 in the 3rd, and were able to rally and win off a controversial Mason Crosby FG as time expired. He missed the first attempt, but it was redone due to a roughing the kicker call.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Rodgers 19/25 228 Yards 2 TD 3 INT

Defensive Game Ball: 2, Dylan Cole 10 Tackles 1 TFL 1 INT; Darnell Savage 6 Tackles 1 INT 3 Deflections 1 TD

SUPER BOWL XX Packers 21 Chargers 33 :cryingjordan:

This was a big game to forget. Rodgers played like trash with 74 passing yards 1 TD 3 INT 2 Fumbles. While the Defense let Baker throw for over 300 yards and we lost the damn SB. The Run D was stout until Melvin Gordon broke a couple huge runs. He also added with 142 receiving Yarfs off a couple huge quick touch pass jet sweeps.

Offensive Game Ball: Aaron Jones 17 Carries 201 Yards and 2 TDs

Defensive Game Ball: Blake Martinez 13 Tackles 3 TFL

Offensive Postseason MVP: Aaron Jones 583 Yards 5 TDs

Defensive Postseason MVP: Darnell Savage Jr.
27 Tackles 1 TFL 2 INT 5 Deflections 2 TDs

In all it was a great run ending in a familiar fashion that coach Willis Oman has felt before at the end of Madden 18. There was some great performances but in the end it only ended in a Halas Trophy, not a Lombardi. Hmm since Halas is only NFC Championship and Lombardi is the whole damn SB doesn't that make GB>CHI? #FTB

2019-20 Jaguars Top 8 Prospects

As we draw nearer to the first season of Madden 20, I would like to take this time to express my Jaguars top prospects that may make a big impact in upcoming seasons.

1. LE Josh Allen - This is pretty obvious as he was the 7th overall pick in the 2019 draft, but with Calais Campbell moving to DT, he will make an impact right away

2. SS Ronnie Harrison - a 3rd round pick in the 2018 draft, Harrison had an ordinary rookie season bringing in 40 tackles, a sack, and a pick. He will start at Safety this season with the lack of talent at the positions. His Star dev mixed with 88 Hit Power could be a dangerous thing, especially with the major amount hit stick fumbles in this game.

3. RT Jawaan Taylor - The 3rd overall pick in the 2nd round is looking to make a name for himself. Starting off it will be tough for him with most of the best pass rushers in the league coming off his side of the line, but at 21 years old he has a ton of time to grow.

4. LOLB Leon Jacobs - Chosen in the 7th round of the 2018 draft, Jacobs out of Wisconsin hasnt been able to show much in the time hes played. He has all the physical tools he needs to be a standout linebacker as he stands at 6'2" and with stats like 88 Speed/Accel, 83 Hit Power, and average jumping at 83, he is a great blueprint at just 23 years young.

5. TE Josh Oliver - The rookie from San Jose State is a physical beast at TE and will most liekly start over higher rated TEs James O'Shaughnessy and Geoff Swaim. at 6'5" 250, he has the size and hands to be a potential Travis Kelce lookalike.

6. DT Taven Bryan - The 23 year old 74 overall 2nd year man out of Florida will not start right away with Marcell Dareus and Calais Campbell above him, but i am sure he will start next season as Campbell will be 34 and Dareus will be hititng 30. Dareus may also be traded during the season, Bryan also has the physical tools to play DE if Josh Allen or Ngakoue go down with an unfortunate injury.

7. WR DJ Chark - Last season he barely played, but coming into his 2nd season he is looking to make an impact. 6'4" with 94 speed, 93 jumping  and 93 accel gives him superior deep threat potential, he is gonna need to play his best in order to outshine this deep receiving core.

8. QB Gardner Minshew - although the rookie is a 59 overall, he was one of my favorite QBs last CFB season at Washington State. He has the personality that of Baker Mayfield, but without the success of Baker in college he was underrated coming into the draft. He will not start barring injury, but he may find his way into playing time in the future

Madden 19 Season 1 Standings Predictions

These are my madden 19 season 1 predictions. If anyone feels like they deserve a to be higher in the standings then you should dm my slack profile @MattyB_Browns.

NFC

East:                                                                                                                                        1st. Cowboys (Chase)                                                                                                           2nd. Eagles (Wohzi)                                                                                                                 3rd. Giants (Connor)                                                                                                                                       4th. Redskins (Lucky)

CONNOR IM SORRY, first off chase seems to be the front runner for the division as he has been very successful in his BL career and especially against Connor. Now the reason I put Wohzi over Connor is that with year one rosters the Eagles have a severe gap over the Giants and I fell like difference is enough to propel Wohzi over Connor at least year 1. Also besides me Connor seems to be the user that lives and dies by the run game, so with running more difficult it should hinder Connor until he can improve on it. As for Lucky I am sorry to put you last but with the worst team in the division you cant do much. Im aware that lucky is a very talented user, but im not sure how commited he is to the league. #blbias

 West:

1st. Me jk Rams (Ocho)                                                                                                2nd.Cardinals (Dan)                                                                                                                                        3rd. 49ers (Me/Justin)                                                                                                                                      4th. Seahawks (Dustin)

The first two spots are a throw up, but I have to give the edge to Ocho because of his superior team. As long as the new game doesn't mess Dans offense up too much then we should see him as a strong candidate to win the division every season. Now with me I feel like if I can keep up my luck from last seasons playoffs I may be able to contend with Dan for second in the division. Now for Dustin, sorry man take this as fuel to improve or something because the best you can do is 4th (inb4 you beat me for 3rd)

South:                                                                                                                                                                             1st. Saints (Kiing)                                                                                                                                             2nd. Falcons (Shawn)                                                                                                                                       3rd. Panthers (Cloud)                                                                                                                                       4th. Bucs (Jamie/Mashotpa)

Alright this division is very tough to call. If everyone plays at there best then this division is one of the best. Kiing is only first because we know what he can do with a good young RB and Kiing with Kamara will be dangerous in the run and pass game. Shawn is second because he will still play well but be will continue to fall short to Kiing in the long run. Cloud is a wildcard and could easily run away with the division if he can play like his prior self, but he has stated that he has been very rusty so far. Jamie is in an unfortunate situation of being in a great division that he most likely cant win unless he Vastly improves.

North:                                                                                                                                                                           1st. Bears (Alex)                                                                                                                                                2nd. Packers (Jerod)                                                                                                                                          3rd. Vikings (Jesse)                                                                                                                                          4th. Lions (David)

Despite what Jerod says he cant hang with Alex, but ill give him the benifit of the doubt over Jesse and David. As for David and Jesse its a toss up, but ill give it to Jesse because of the Vikings roster.

AFC:

East:                                                                                                                                                                                  1st. Patriots (Morty)                                                                                                                                         2nd. Bills (Cody)                                                                                                                                             3rd. Dolphins (Cam)                                                                                                                                         4th. Jets (Tcup)

Morty vs Cody should be an interesting rivalry where Morty will keep beating Cody and Cody will complain about thr game as Morty says nothing. Cam and Tcup are a weird duo to pair with Morty and Cody, but they should be competitive between the 3rd and 4th spot.

West:                                                                                                                                                                               1st. Chargers (Austin)                                                                                                                                       2nd. Chiefs (Kook)                                                                                                                                           3rd. Broncos (Chef)                                                                                                                                         4th. Raiders (Colin)

Austin should easily walk away with this division. As for the other three Kook will probably get 2nd the whole cycle, Chef and Colin are both rather unknown to me although Chef is the OG Mish he didnt play well at the end of madden 18. The same can be said about Colin playing not that great.

South:                                                                                                                                                                                 1st. Jags (Evan/Dallas)                                                                                                                                    2nd. Colts (Niko)                                                                                                                                              3rd. Titans (B mothafuckin Man)                                                                                                                  4th. Texans (Chapteroll)

So this division isnt good. Evan is the only one that he can win and will mpst likely run away with the division. Niko is next because I feel like he will put in the dedication to improve. As for Bman I feel like he can finally rise up from the bottom of a division, although Chapterrol is relatively unknown and may suprise.

North:

1st. Bengals (Slander)                                                                                                                                      2nd. Ravens (Phil)                                                                                                                                            3rd. Browns (Matty)                                                                                                                                        4th. Steelers (Beard)

Slander is a very capable user and a potential SB contender and from what ive heard Phil isnt looking to good in 19 which gives Slander a lead over him. Matty would shun me if I didnt mention that he is 2-0 against Phil so far in 19. If Phil really falls of this big of a cliff than he may slip under matty, but probably not due to Phil being able to beat people that he should beat when Matty is due for a couple upsets.

This has been my Division preview. I wouldve don records, but i didnt want to do all the math to add up the wins and losses.  I hope some of my predicions are wrong and some users can throw this ranking back at my face. #BmanSBChamp2018

2021 Playoff Projections

AFC:

1. RAIDERS - With wins over some of the best competition BL has to offer, the raiders are looking to finish with an almost perfect record. There toughest opponent will be the Eagles week 11 which will most likely be one or the others only loss this season.

2. PATRIOTS - Its no suprise to see the always dominate Pats in a first round bye spot. This time they will only earn the 2 seed due to the recent and domination of the Raiders.

3. BENGALS - Easily winning there division again. There is no doubt that they will be in this 3 spot unless they slip to 4 which is very unlikely. They could potentially fall if they lose some of their bigger games, but the Bengals do very good under pressure.

4. TEXANS - Ok. This is easily the most controversial div. winner on this list. Although the Titans have came out to a hot start, they have been slowly fading down lately. With a loss to the Rams and  a couple more after that I just don’t see the Titans as Div winners in the end although they have beaten the Texans.

5. BRONCOS - They are the third best team in the conference. They are just unfortunately in the same division as the Raiders which is why they are in the wildcard race.

6. JETS - Another similar case to the Broncos. The Jets are in the division with one of the best in the league. They end there season on a somewhat easy schedule and are looking to finish the season strong.

NFC:

1. EAGLES - Very similar to the Raiders, the Eagles have dominated their foe so far. This is also backed by the fact they have one of the easiest out of division schedules in the league.

2. VIKINGS - In what should be one of the closest divisional races in the NFC I have the Vikings slipping out the division win and achieving a first round bye.

3. CARDINALS - This would be the 49ers but FLs will kill them in the end. As long as the Cards can finish strong they should be able to sneak there way to the 3 seed.

4. SAINTS - ? Even the Panthers say that the Saints have the easier schedule out of the two. The saints only really have the Jets and Pats as there toughest opponents left. On the other hand the Panthers still play Pats, Skins, and Eagles.

5. BEARS - Yet another wildcard team that could be a division winner in almost any other division. This fearsome D and High powered offense have been destructive so far this season and if it wasn’t for the Vikings then Bears would be the 2 seed

6. REDSKINS - With a couple tough game left I don’t see them catching the Bear. The race between the Skins and the Cowboys is gonna be insane though, But I’ve gotta give the 6 seed to the Redskins since they finally found a QB to replace Baker Mayfield

sorry Chase, Connor, Cody, and Wohzi :(

Meet the Saints Rookies!

This is all about the a few of the new guys you will be seeing in New Orleans for a long long time.

Craig Booker MLB 1st round 5th pick 78Ovr

Craig Booker has been a stud his whole life, he has always been the biggest and strongest kid. Growing up in urban Tampa Bay his family never had money and eventually his father and mother divorced. Booker was going through a rough patch in his life and all he knew he loved was Football. He dominated in Highschool, breaking the Florida record for tackles and finished his Highschool career as the #7 ranked recruit. From there he was a top recruit to Miami and ended up breaking the Miami Tackle record previously held by Dan Morgan.                                                      Favorite Player: Fellow Hurricane  Ray Lewis

Shawn Nickerson QB 4th round 24th pick 69Ovr

Shawn used to be to small to be a QB. In his junior and senior year in highschool  he grew from 5”8 to *6”3* from then he accelerated at QB. He had big time scholarships going into College but decided to stay in state and go to Montana State to stay near his sick mother. He was a star in College bringing them to there first winning record since 2007 his senior year.                                       Favorite Player: His Uncle Ryan Leaf

Westly Moats WR UDFA 76Ovr

Growing up his family was dirt poor in a very rough area in Santa Fe. He got into a lot of trouble growing up and was arrested at age 13 for bringing a gun to school, but he was so good at football that his eventual highschool coach allowed him to join the team despite his multiple felonys. Westly wanted to be successful, but had the money to do anything. His parents used their whole life savings to have Westly walk on at New Mexico State, he eventually made the team and started his senior year. Finally the beast was unleashed as he finished his season with over 1,000 yards and 21 TDs. Then there was draft day, every single team passed in him due to his unpredictable attitude but eventually after the draft the Saints picked him up and are very high on him.                               Favorite Player: Terrel Owens

(Bonus) Malcom Bean 5”8 Kick Returner

Although the Bean Man isnt a rookie, his story is so good that we have to share it. Lil Bean was born in Bean Town aka Boston, Growing up he was always the smallest but had a huge heart. He excelled at Basketball but didn’t make his highschool team due to his stature. He then was recruited to the football team as a wide receiver, but wasn’t all that great. Coming out of college he was offered only 1 scholarship and that was to be a kick returner for Illinois State. Oh boy, oh boy he was a returner. He had 3! Kick return touchdowns in a game against Northern Illinois and eventually breaking school and NCAA records for return yards and return TDs.                                    Favorite Player: Desmond Howard
