So it looks like the Phins will have the 8th pick in the first round and rumors says they’re going RB with the pick. Dolphins were trying to trade Jay Ajayi but nobody was hitting so they held on to him for the season. The aging RB seems to be declaining so it’s time for someone else in the backfield. The Dolphins are also looking for a RT and WR. On defense the Phins said the want a DT and possibly SS. They said in all honestly they’re thinking about trading Deron Genus and replace him with this draft. They’re DT Matthew Judon is also aging and it’s time to replace him.
And that’s it for the Dolphins, the season is to an end. They finished off 4-12 and aren’t happy about that. They had high expectation for this season but didn’t execute. They still plan on keeping coach Don Shula Jr. Players seem to like him and they seem he brings that intensity that the team needs. They as players are putting this all on them. One player said that the play calls were there and we just didn’t execute on the field. Seems like the players are taking responsibility for this season.
It’s rivalry week once again for these division rivals. Dolphins and Patriots square off in week 13 and it should be interesting. The Dolphins feel that if they stop the run game they will come out on top. The Pats also have a vertical threat in Brandon Cooks so they need to play over the top on his side. The Phins need to win this week to stay in playoff contentions so this is a big week for them. This game is for the season, QB Jon Francklin said “It’s win or go home, simple as that.” We can bet that both teams are going to bring that intensity.
The Phins didn’t make any moves by the trade deadline. They were trying to trade their top corner Xavien Howard, Jay Ajayi and Ja’Wuan James. There were some offers for Xavien Howard but no serious offers. When it comes to the corner position the Phins want to make the rookie corner their number one corner. Only a rookie they see the potential for him to be the number one man. With the running back position the Dolphins did draft a RB and wanted to make him the starter but due to ball security they had to play Jay Ajayi.
The Dolphins want JFIII to step into that elite role. He definitely has the potential to step into that elite roll. He has all the tools to be a great QB in this league. He has a strong arm, he has the legs to scramble, the accuracy is there and he has the pocket presence. What they are trying to work with him is his decision making. He likes to try to make a play and force a throw into coverage sometimes and that hurts the team. They feel like once he gets his bettering his decision making he will be where he needs to be.
The Miami Dolphins are excited about draft day. I pretty sure every team is excited about draft day. It’s where you get the future for you team. The Dolphins are thinking about going CB with their first pick. With Xavian Howard getting older they want to start preparing the next guy up. With their 2nd they’re thinking about going OL. They feel like the OL is gettting up there in age as well. They are also looking for young fast TE and DT
The Miami Dolphins are moving in the right direction conpared to last season. The team was 2-14 last season and 7-9 this season. The team is happy with coach Don Shula Jr. Players say the locker room presents is better and they like the intensity coach brings. The team was gelling way better this season so there is hope for next season. Let’s see where they are next season in the standings.
The Miami Dolphins are on fire with a three game winning streak. Spoke to head coach Don Shula Jr. and he said quote “Team is gelling and having fun doing what they love to do.” They have a tough match up against they’re rival New England Patriots which is first place in the division. They want to keep this momentum going and finish the season strong.
The Miami Dolphins are happy on draft day. They feel like they filled the void. Now they had to let go of some vets like Ryan Tannehill, Mike Pouncy and Reshard Jones but it was time for the young bucks to take over. It also opened up a lot of cap space. With their first pick Ray Fusco they’re hoping he picks up everything quick and hopefully be a captain of the defense. Dolphins went with a pass rusher from Ohio State, Francis Carrington. Dolphin’s are hoping he can bring the pressure off the line. Then they went with two safties, Riley James and Deron Genus. Dolphin’s are hoping they can bring the protection and playmaking to the secondary. They also went with LT Morgan Gaitor from Texas A&M but moved him to LG. They Miami Dolphins have high hopes for this year and their young talent
And that’s it for Steph Isabish, he is on his way out. It’s not surprising news due to his terrible record. Ownership was fed up with the play of the team. Now of course the coach isn’t the one out there playing but word in the locker room is that he isn’t very vocal. He doesn’t seem to be a players coach as well. Now they plan on naming defensive coordinator and the son of HOF coach Don Shula, Don Shula Jr as head coach.
Theres a lot of tention in the Dolphin's locker room. Players aren't happy with the coaching staff and now there's rumors that coach Steph Isabish might be out. It's not surprising by looking at his losing record as a head coach. Dolphins are 2-10 so far this season and the owner Stephen Ross isn't happy. Time will tell but it seems that there will be a change soon
