Things continue to look bad for the Lions . They will be without Matt Stafford for the next 8 weeks due to suspension . They will have to look to long time back up Chase Daniel . They'll likely have to depend on RB Jay Ajayi to get the offense going for the next 8 weeks . Hopefully Ajayi can save the Lions season from drowning once again . 

The Lions look to bouce back from a horrid season .With the additions of linebacker , Vontez Burfict &  defensive tackle , Danny Shelton , the Lions looked to improve their run defense . But nothing could save them on Sunday against the 49ers . The Lions fell behind early and could never get back on top after that . Regardless of Matthew Stafford's 443 Yards and 4 TDs , the Lions fell 72-49 . The 49ers were carried by 2nd year man Joe Williams who accounted for 390 rushing yards . After a tough week for the Lions , they look to bounce back against the Tampa Bay Bucaneers next Suday .
