Two strongest divisions in the league are obviously in the NFC which is clearly the stronger conference. The super bowl winner will most likely come from one of these two divisions. The NFC South has already claimed two bowls and are looking to maintain dominance over the league.

RaiderNationNews End of Year Review
The Raiders finish their Regular season 13-3 winners of the afc west. Although the season ended with a poor result to the eventual AFC champion Dolphins the Raiders with their Rookie QB solid defense and excellent run game carried them through the season.
Not much movement in free agency for the Raiders because of cap restrictions but they have decided to part ways with veteran safety Earl Thomas who signed with the Dolphins this off-season. The signings the Raiders did make were along the offensive line signing veterans Corey Lindsey and DJ Humphries to add depth and experience to the weakest part of the team.
The team continues to improve and gel on offense hopefully Jake Fromm can take the steps needed in his second season to the Raiders over the top. The schedule will be much tougher this season. There’s a new coach in Denver, San Diego is always tough and Kansas City has used its second draft in a row to stockpile talent.
The Raiders look to add young depth in the draft with several picks in the 3-7 rounds of the draft, The team will also move Trey Waynes to Houston for picks.
RaiderNationNews Midseason report
The Oakland Raiders led by rookie QB Jake Fromm are now 7-1 and sit atop the afc west. With 3.5 game lead the raiders with 3 of their next 4 games against division opponents look to seal up a playoff berth and division crown.
The crown jewel of the team is the defense, the raiders are in the top 5 in most defensive categories.
Julio Jones has opened up the offense in many ways, in the past a heavy dose of Todd gurley had been the key to the Raiders success but now having Julio has created more opportunities against 1v1 for Josh Gordon and Dante Pettis. Todd Gurley has had two solid games since returning from injury as well and the Raiders look to be prim contenders to challenge the SB champion Browns in the AFC. With Devin Bush nearing return in week 11 the defense will only get better.

RaiderNationNews Quarterly Report
The New Look Oakland Raiders are off to a 3-1 start this season. Rookie Quarterback and 3rd overall Pick Jake Fromm, Had looked solid so far in the beginning of his first year campaign. His numbers aren’t eye popping but he makes great throws in critical moments and compliments his defense well.
Todd Gurley will be out 1 more game, but the Raiders have seem to found there running back by committee situation to be holding on steady as we are ranked 3rd in rushing this season. Hopefully the new acquisitions made recently can get incorporated into the team quickly and we can see some production. Once Gurley and Leonard Williams come off of the injury list the Raiders could look to make a run this season.
As far as roster moves the Raiders may not look to make anymore deals until deadline week, rumor has it the coach might be looking for some Oline help the raiders are young and have 3 1st year starters on their line and protecting Jake Fromm is the key to their season.
Our spotlight game of the month was last weeks win vs Buffalo 16-10 the offense wasn’t spectacular but it did wonders on Fromm’s confidence level to go up against Tua Tagovaiola and win the game. Raiders signed Rodney Anderson from the Bengals Practice squad this week and after Mike Weber got knocked out of the game on the first carry, Anderson took over rushing for 124yards and a TD.
Fromm and the Raiders will be tested their next 3 games all on the road against the Jets(3-1) Dolphins(3-1) Chargers(2-2) they finish the the first half with a Home game vs Titans(1-3) and then the bye week.
