Competitve... but still losing...

Still not as bad as the '08 Lions right?  Ironically the Bears picked up their first win against the Lions and have remained surprisingly competitive despite playing some top tier talent throughout the season.  Coach Roc has ended his post game ranting, however, we aren't sure if that's due to mental fatigue or if the Bears are actually performing well enough not to illicit expletive filled rants after every game.   Since 'gouda-gate' occurred in Baltimore, the Bears have avoided getting destroyed on a regualar basis, and have been each of the last two games with 3 minutes or less in the 4th.  Though both losses came in a rather depressing fashion, the Bears schedule lightens up a bit to close out the season.  With coach Pat of the Bengals swearing to "beat the Bears (expletive)", the upcoming bottom feeder game dubbed the 'toilet bowl' has the makings of a rare bit of excitement for fans.

We'd ask if it's basketball season yet, but the Bulls are terrible too...

Dumpster Fire hits all time low in Green Bay

Silver Lining:  Bears managed to keep the game reasonably close for most of the game, and forced 4 Aaron Rodgers INTs, and 4 sacks.  The realism:  Trubisky threw 8 INTs, and a fumble was lost on a kick return as the Bears High School Practice squad team was lucky to crack 100 yards.   The Coaching staff told the media this week that they were going to 'open up the playbook this week'.   In this reporters humble opinion, they should add it as kindling to this ever-burning dumpster fire known as the Chicago Bears season.  On paper, there's a winnable game in week 5 against the Vikings, but regardless of how well the D plays, unless they get the speed to actually run one of these INTs back and score, they simply can't count on the injury riddled offense to put up much of a fight.
