Undefeated Packers , The Surging Lions and The Hibernating Bears

At the start of the season the NFC North had plenty of new faces coming to the Lions and Bears , specifically at the Qb position with Josh Allen coming through Free agency to the Bears and the Lions picking up Lamar Jackson in a blockbuster trade . As for the Packers they choose to stick with aging superstar Qb Aaron Rodgers whose clock is sticking for retirement. After a quick start to the season the Packers Bears and Lions were 6-0 , 4-1, and 5-1 through the first 6 games with the Packers injuring Qb Lamar Jackson in the opening game and the Lions holding off back up Qb Litton in a 31-25 victory over the Bears it looked to be another tight race down to the wire for seeding in what has been the toughest divison in Madden this season producing 3 playoff teams the last 2 season and at least 2 playoff teams all year. Bears looked to go all in at the trade deadline sending Jordan Howard to the Patriots for Te Starkey and bringing in Hb Alvin Kamara to carry the workload. Unfortunately this would not help the bears finish the season punching a ticket into the playoffs managing a 10-6 record but finishing short of the wildcard with some midseason antics causing the Bears to lose rhythm and starting Hb Alvin Kamara to a season ending injury. This open up the doorway for rookie Hb Gales to take over the running duties which would lead him to earning NFC ROTY honors. With the Bears crumbling in the waning moments of the season this cleared an easy path for the Lions to take a Wildcard spot and the Packers continue to win games ending the regular season a perfect 16-0 with MlB Oren Burks finally breaking MLB Roquan Smith single season INT record of 23 set his rookie year with the new record being 25! As the Packers look to make up for last season NFC Championship loss to the Cowboys, the Lions look to regain there playoff performance from that lead them to a superbowl appearance two seasons ago. As the Bears go Into hibernation this offseason they look on watching the playoffs wondering if someone from the NFC North can finally finish the job and bring home the Lombardi Trophy!!!

Another Season down

Since Roquan Smith dominating rookie campaign where he set the single season interception record with 23 two division rivals have attempted to chase and break this record. 2019 was Oren Burks with 21 and now this current season Jared Davis with 21. While both Linebackers have done there best to imitate Roquan feat neither could steal away the record in the final week of the regular season. Will another player tie or even break this seemingly impossible record? Or will they all continue to come up short... find out on next season of CNFL!
