The Denver Broncos season was essentially ended today. They will miss the post season for the 3rd consecutive season. The loss to the jets stung their head coach and ended their post season hopes. All Denver can do is continute to develop for the end of the season and hope that their rookie QB can get some develop over the off-season. He needs it bad, he missed a lot of easy throws thoughout the season. He has played extremely well throughout the seaon, but he still needs some dev. Not having Cann this entire season was hard, it destroyed any momentum that Denver had. Even when he was not playing well, he drew a lot of attention and opened up space for Fant and the WR core.
Denver really needs to hit some players in free agency if they want a chance to become a dominant force in the AFC once again. Denver is really hoping that Tony Heenan can conitnue to ball out the remainder of the season and solidy his AFC OROY award and maybe secure a pro bowl spot, that would be amazing. Denver fans should be a little excited about how well he played the season, given that over the past few seasons the QB play has been absolutely aabismal.
Denver has had an up and down season so far. They came out the gate just absolutely guns blazing. Destroying any team that was in their way. This includes the elite Bears team. Denver was looking to absolutely crush it this season, then something tragic happened. Cann, the best player on their team, got injured for 7 weeks. This did not kill the Broncos, but it did not help them at all. Cann was having a bad year, but that doesn't mean he wasn't impacting the game. When he is on the field the other team has to keep an eye on him and Fant. NOw, it is just Fant.
Denver played well until they played the Chiefs and raiders. Lost two games vs the raiders and the game against the chiefs. This is rough as it shows how tough the AFC west actually is. Denver the past 4 seasons, are 0-16... 0-16....0-16... YES 0-16. agaisnt the Chiefs and raiders. THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN US!!!! IT HURTS ME!!!! We have missed playoffs the past few season by 1 game... 1... WE WENT 11-4... guess who those 4 losses were to? You got it. Chiefs and Raiders. I think the Raiders and Chiefs are responsible for more Losses than all the other teams in the league combined. That is so sad:/
Can denver win out and make it to the playoffs? no clue. we play chiefs week 17 and winner could go to playoffs. yup. 0-17 here we come
The Denver Broncos have almost completely fallen off the radar after winning the SB season 1. Can you call the Broncos elite? Well, I don't think at the moment you can call Denver elite. Well, this season we are going to attempt to change that. The denver Broncos want to move forward from the Jessie Mitchell ( QB), he threw a league high 42 INT... 42 INT. That is a recipe for disaster. Despite Mitchell throwing games away, the Broncos finished with a very good record at 11-5. Depsite their efforts they fell short of the playoffs for the second year in a row by 1 game. Denver's GM decided to make a change. Chef went out and got Keenan Allen from the Giants, which is a huge step up from last season. Although Denver lost all their corners they somehow managed to get serviceable corners via trade and FA.
Ramon Cann.. The MVP from last season is determined to put the team on his back once again. This time he is determined to get them into playoffs. Don't expect the same Denver from the past 4 seasons. Denver has looked to change their offense away from depending on the legs of Cann and the hands of Fant. Expect big things from Denver!!
Our goals are to beat the Chiefs and Raiders 1 time each. Doing this should get us into playoffs, we want to get into playoffs like we did so long ago. It feels like there is a drought in denver, we are on a SB hangover from 4 seasons ago... that is not acceptable. We are going to change this, we have to change this...
