Rumors speculate the FLG league will make updates to their rules. My sources say they are concerned with player safety and players doing too much during games. I'll be sure to keep you updated on anything I heard.

After losing twice to the Eagles and having to face the NFC East division leading Redskins twice in the last 3 games of the season, the Cowboys chances of making playoffs are fading. Early on in the season we saw much improvement on the offensive side of the ball compared to last season. Ever since the Cowboys were blown out by the Raiders, things have been looking grim.
The Cowboys weren't able to keep the Eagles out of the end zone for very long, letting the eagles score 20 points before being able to get anything going on offense. Once they were able to start moving the ball, the sloppy throws and poor blocking still continued. Somehow they managed to score twice and have the opportunity to win the game after getting the ball back at within their own 10 yard line with 1 minute left on the clock and no timeouts.
Paxton Lynch's play has been the epitome of inconsistency over this, and last season. Often times leading them to lose games they had a chance of winning. In this game, Paxton was 31/48 and threw 4 ints and only 2 touchdowns on his poor attempt to mount a comeback. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, he wasn't the only issue.
Not being able to run the football and control the clock is another one of the Cowboys problems. The 4th round draft pick Navassa Minnis was putting up OROTHY numbers early on before he was sidelined with an injury. After missing most of week 6 and all of weeks 7 and 8, hes only put up more than 100 yards rushing 1 time in a loss to the Giants in week 9. Week 14 being the worst with a -4 total yards on the day. Eventually he was benched for veteran running back DeAngelo Williams. While the offensive line was struggling to hold blockers and keep linebackers out of the backfield, hes not showing the explosiveness he was earlier in the season.
As it stands right now, the defense is the shining light of the Cowboys team. While giving up 20 points early, they didn't allow another score all games. The defense forced 2 turnovers and sacked the Wilson 4 times through out the day, while constantly applying pressure. The Cowboys also held Yeldon to only 69 yards rushing on the day which was the second lowest yardage game hes had all season.
With 3 games remaining in the season, the Cowboys need to win out to even be considered for a chance to play for the Lombardi at the end of the year. Hopefully they will be able to have a late season resurgence and come out on top.
